The 2017 Burt and Deedee McMurtry Lecture features distinguished guest artist, NICK CAVE, in conversation with Harry J. Elam, Vice President of the Arts at Stanford University. Nick Cave is well known for his fantastical and celebrated Soundsuit sculptures and for his interdisciplinary works that incorporate art, performance, video, and fashion. He is the Fashion Design Department Chair at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago.
