The M3 has developed a shake in the front & I think it's from the F80 spacers which are for 14mm wheel studs and not 12mm wheel studs. I've done some searching and found these spacers from Future Classic. These are probably the most legit spacers I've seen and they're not that expensive!

Thanks for the video, I have been eyeing these for my M2. It is good to get your take on the quality.
Glad the diamond grips are working out so far!
YO I m subscribing just because of how beautiful that shop is I dont think I have ever seen a youtube car vision with shop that nice... wow.
I have the PROJECT KICS LEGGDURA 53MM OPEN-END 2-PIECE LUGS for my ND Miata for my Advan RZ wheels. They are GREAT quality and build. Highly recommend them to all: well worth the coin.
Cool video, thanks. No need to go all he-man with the rotor retaining bolts though. They only hold the rotor to the hub when the wheel is off. Excessive tightening will likely lead to life sucking when the head strips out during your next removal attempt...regardless of whether anti seize was used or not.
Garrick Forkenbrock Been there, done that, on my old Acura. I think they made the bolt head out of the shittiest metal ever and they were a Phillips! They stripped in about 8 seconds and I had to use an EZ-out to drill them off. Butt-puckering!
Matt, next time give Venom Steel Black Nitrile Gloves a shot. Avail on amazon. Best I've used.
Nice quality pieces with a big spelling error on the box lol
Great video but you should work harder on the lightning. A little too dark. 👍
So the shaking was from the fact that F8X Spacers were used on an E9X M3. BWM switched the bolt/stud thread diameter from 12mm to 14mm. That means there is 2mm of play on the F80 spacers mounted to an E9X M3. So the bolt holes are too big, so there is play. #ItsMath
Hi Matt! I have 245/40/R18 (Front) 265/40/R18 Would 10mm in the rear and 12mm in the front fit perfectly? Thanks
How you learn things. I did the same on my 2019 M3 competition package. There great haven't had any problems. I did I lot of research before I purchase them as I'm an engineer.
Ok here is a bag of attention ego
Surprised you haven’t been recommended the orange tiger gloves, might be a UK thing.. but they last at least 5 times longer than any other I’ve had.
I have packs of those brushes in my garage. Normies prb do not have them though.
I have tried so many spacers and they all seem to vibrate some, i cant wait to hear if these have no vibrations at all!!
Could it have been the sizes?
If you had some chrome pieces (emblem, trim, etc.) of which you could find no aftermarket blacked out version, what would you do to get rid of the chrome?
Vinyl wrap
All outlets I’ve searched don’t manufacture these for BMW e9x M models. I can only find they manufacture them for 2015 F80 models onwards etc. I’m assuming they only fit your e9x because you’ve upgraded your brakes? Some advice would much appreciated. Thanks.

Obsessed Garage Fingers crossed they deliver to the uk 🇬🇧. Much appreciated for your quick response 👍🏻.
Spinning BMW Logos in the center cap? Holy crap 😎👍
Do you have a link where to buy?
Ok...found them OEM from BMW and ordered immediately. Available for pretty much every OEM Wheel type
At first I thought they were cheesy, but they are really great.
Obsessed Garage I‘llfind out 😂 ordered them here in Munich. BTW 3 M-Cars, when are you visiting Munich, home of BMW?
4th
Go obsessed garage !!!
🥴
Some folks run 15mm and 12.5 mm f/r on E9X M3s.
Wondering if the spacers should be different between an E92/E93 Coupe and an E90 Sedan?
It’s same for both.
Big fan of the Macht Schnell spacers as well. Have them on my M5 and M3. Never had an issue with them.
So no vibration / feeling at the steering wheel with these spacers?
I don't have any.
As this video is 4 years old, just wondering if these Future Classic spacers are still the ones to go for - 2012 E92 M3 Composition Pack (UK)
Yes, I use them to this day.
Thank you. The car has stock Competition Pack suspension (with EDC). Tyres also stock 265/245. I'm thinking 10mm rear / 12mm front spacers, as per your video. When getting a full wheel alignment done after fitting, would you suggest I simply stick with standard OEM wheel alignment/geometry?
How are these holding up? Any issues?
Great. I have them on my M5. The M3 I have Titan7 wheels, so they weren't on there very long.
Obsessed Garage what size on the m5
To be honest, I believe screwing in spacer to the rotor/hub is redundant and unnecessary unsprung weight
I don't. Spacers can float around the lugs causing vibration.
Obsessed Garage how if they’re hubcentric and tightened in between the wheel and rotor at 100ft lbs??
Yea, once the wheels are torqued down the hubcentric spacers are locked in. If they are floating around that means your wheels are about to fall off lol. I do like these as they keep the spacers in place when removing wheels.
And wouldn’t the 2 screws you put in be out of balance since the weight isn’t distributed in a circle pattern around the hub???? I’m so lost on the engineering behind these
M Performance right, as long as they’re hubcentric they’re locked down ! You say you like that they stay on when you take the wheel off but I have hubcentric spacers without the screws and they stay on because of their tight fit on the hub. Again, I’m not seeing any benefit to these. I think Matt may have misdiagnosed the vibration
If it doesn't fit, you must acquit.
8:28 never ever smear shit on threads ! and dont smear shit under a smapcer it makes it wobble. just clean under there and install it.
What are you talking about?
:)
