Choreography and performance: Nicole Hoff (Nicki) Music: Agnieszka Majewska "Awakening" Video: Filip Marek Follow us on social media: direct.me/loczniki
This might sound dumb, but here it goes. What I got from watching this is maybe this is someone's first time questioning how attached they are to everything, including themselves. This could be someone's attachment from reality getting worse OR them being attached to other things that are harmful to themselves in the end. The dancing segments I feel is internal, while her staring off and slowly getting more out of focused is external. In the end she is internally tangled in her attachments while the clear vision of her real external self is distorted.
Very nice Nikie. Very artistic and theatrical. it reminded me a bit the opening scene from the movie "White Nights", not so musicaly but more thematicaly.
Aight, it's me again So, if you remember, I already tried a theory, that explains the video. However, this is another video of those, I just really can enjoy, because I just watch it on loop for 3 hours and find new evidence and new details to support and to build on my thoughts. As an example is the title itself. Attachement. I hope, that we all came to the conclusion, that the attachement is basically this construct of things, combined with a rope. But one thing I find interesting is, how she just starts with the end of the rope, more even so the beginning of it, as she stands up and starts to dance. She basically shows, how her attachement is dancing. As she does that, she moves at the rope to the other parts of the attachement and quite literally starts embracing her passion at 1:38 in the video. It shows, how her attachement is not forced by anyone, as she is not stuck, but in it willingly, so it actually is a passion, she is attached to. She goes her way through every little detail and observes everything possible about it. The abstract thing, she dances "in" is also un"breakable" or unchangeable, as we see in 2:38, where she tries to flip it over. Maybe because of rage or just tiredness of observing everything, however, the next shot shows, how everything is still there. It's a very fast change of perspective. When someone plays an instrument and destroys his notes and instrument to never play again, or a dancer, who destroys documents with move tutorials on it, than we destroyed the art in our world, but the art itself doesn't vanish. It's just as if you break a clock and expect the time to break, only, that we believe it at one of those examples. It's unbreakable, because we only get a fraction of the actual thing, that we can break. The end shows her in the mittle of it all. She's fully attached and found her connection to her passion, as she stands literally in the mittle of all of it. So, one thing I find interesting is, how it's filmed in the same room as the video effect, which could be coincidence, but also could be an answer to that video. If you remember, I wrote down, that it's basically life and a Form of confusion and unholdable things, that just start to disappear somewhen. This could be an answer to find an attachement and how to not be lost in life anymore. After all, we see her in this construct of dancing and find her never really lost, because she has something to hold on to forever. It shows how to cope with the lost emotions, that don't know, where to go or what to believe, how to cope with a meaningless life. It's not about finding the right answer, this construct is one of many, you're attached to, because you're born here and have the possibilities to get attached to those many constructs. Some, you even might be attached to already and in a way, you found your meaning of life, if you're really passionate about your attached thing. Good video as always ✌️
Wow I actually read the whole thing. Your way of thinking is really unique. For you to actually describe her emotions and dancing in such a difficult explanation and I actually understand it and it actually goes with her dance is amazing.
I'm going to have to watch EFFECT and read your comment there. I was also deconstructing and interpreting it myself when I happened upon your comment. I can see it, and it makes sense. Thanks so much for posting this.
the choice to slowly have the self portriat become more and more destorted as the unhealthy attatchment created a skewed view of the person. its beautiful. well done.
This one of those things that feels deeply personal. It will mean different things to different people but the movements are like I’m doing the movements… yet I’m not, it’s nicki. Idk if that makes sense, probably not and probably sounds pretentious but oh well 😅
You're looking for a connection and you find one, and you follow along to see where it goes. You have some erratic moments of fun and difficulty and by the end you're entangled and possibly in a mess. Either that, or you wanted to see what's at the end of a string.
make a tutorial about slowmotion locking, Salah makes it very well but I don't know the real name of the steps, it's like a movement broken into a series of short movements rapidly one by the other, like a series of snapshots.
To whoever is reading this Jesus loves you and he’s coming soon. All you need to do to be saved is believe that Jesus Christ died on the cross for your sins was buried and came back to life on the 3d day. Confess with your mouth Jesus is Lord and you’ll be saved! I hope to see you in the clouds! God bless!l

Brawo
Beautiful mix between contemporary dance and that inevitable pop-locking of yours... ❤😊
piekna sztuka
art really is an universal language 🌟
Makes me think of being attached to 2 different people who possibly know each other and not being able to make a choice. Very interesting piece.
I'm not sophisticated enough to truly appreciate this piece of art.
But enjoyed being baffled by the performance.
Troszkę sznura poszło 😁😁 świetnie jak zawsze
Very good 😘👏
I can digg this, very artistic, the music matched the dancing perfectly
Excellent work indeed my friends! Inspired me so much! Congratulations Niki!!

Fine Art.
You're such an insane inspiration!!! Thank you... Just thank you ㅠㅡㅠ
bardzo piękny tanok ❤
when you're trying untangle your headphones
i'm not sure what part, but something about this reminds me of a scene with the protagonsit of a cirque du soleil show
Awesome as always 😎🤝
I would love to see a more traditional ballet-style piece... but with the popping/ locking/strobing skills incorporated.
You're looking for a connection and you find one, and you follow along to see where it goes. You have some erratic moments of fun and difficulty and by the end you're entangled and possibly in a mess. Either that, or you wanted to see what's at the end of a string.
You are AMAZING....I'm literally fall in love 😍😍😍😍😍
Wow! 😲
Wow. Just... Wow.
Yea, that was awesome!
