WHERE do you get your recipes from? I have never seen a recipe for meringues that calls for two types of sugar - and I come from a family of professional bakers! (Small business, not multinational)
Kay, there's a whole online library of recipes with instructions. Please, USE THEM and actually follow the directions!!! I'm not an experienced cook, but it's not hard to follow a recipe. Follow it and it won't look like slop.
You needed to whisk it some more until it's quite stiff. Dont use tin foil use parchment and theirs no need for any marge. When it says fold in icing sugar it's a special technique by mixing it you're beating the air out of the egg. Do another to-do some time you'll get it right ☺ good video though! X
