Entirely True!
You are completely on your own as soon as you enter the university. It's a really humbling experience too. You meet a lot of people from different cultures, and get to learn a lot about this country.
Also, the part about placements is also entirely true. In actuality, the placements are average or even below average in most of the colleges but no one is dependent on them here. Every student is doing his own hustle and work and has a different path.
Most of the students want to do something of their own. And I have seen the majority of students from private colleges in Delhi are entirely different. They are just passing their time and have a delusion that they are being productive as there's no competition in those colleges.
But, Delhi University is such a competitive place that you will be motivated by seeing your peers achieving new heights every single month.

Bcz i have completed my schooling by hindi midium😢..and after the hard work i scored 81% in 12th board(BSEB).
in 2020 i got chances to get admission in DELHI UNIVERSITY..And i was so happy to know this..but i was not able to get in top 10 colleges so i got admission in off campus college that is Zakir Husain college(Vikash Divyakirti sir also graduated from there)..
however i completed my 3rd semester through OBE exam pattern due to covid pandemic...
But after few days of examination DU announced to open Campus and ll conduct offline classes....🎉
And my journey started from there...in my classroom i observed that many of students who is so smart in study is preparing for CA/CS/CMA and any other compatative examination together with graduation...
At that point i think a lot and meet to those students and make a good bond with them❤
After few months i also enrolled in CA course..and started my CA journey with them...
I cleared my CSEET examination during CA foundation..after few month's ltr' i seated for CA foundation Examination...i got failed in all subjects 😢
Again i started preparing for foundation and then i got passed in all subjects except in law ....i was so proud of myself ❤..not by my result but by improvement of my marks❤....
I completed my graduation after few days of foundation examination....
And i got chances to enter in CA Inter through Direct entry and now i m' preparing for CA intermediate Nov-24❤..
And that the things i got in my life and learnt how to work hard to achieve the high position in life..just bcz of DU❤...

Correction in the video: The placements shown are not for bCom SRCC, they are of FMS and that too for MBA, For undergrad not even a single college has 30+lpa average package, the average for undergrad of top 10 colleges would be around 9-10 lpa.
What about the colleges from south campus and some mediocre level north campus colleges ? Shall one opt for BHU other than the top college like srcc of du (if not able to clear the cut off)? Also, what are some good alternatives for du with decent placements ? Please provide some insights to me regarding the same.

I am from DU SOL and I would like to tell you that they don't even check papers properly. There are many cases where students got passed even after writing songs and students who studied day and night are failed even after writing paper properly.

Got 100 percent in 12th, studying in hindu(history) , would never sit for any placement! Just telling I hardly study for university exam! And my goal is different , so I study that and the knowledge booms! Still manage to get 8.5 cgpa just 20-25 days before exam is where I study (I am not in any society , cause my dreams are different and I know my passion, a had a very good school background !) the professors are cool(not all obvio, but mostly are), but what you study here, beyond books matter

I can't go to Bombay for some personal reasons so i thought of going to Delhi for my studies and mainly for my passion - Acting. I just want to know if coming to Delhi for my studies plus for my acting passion will be worth it as bcoz for acting career I can't go to Mumbai now. Abhi ke liye toh yehi socha hua hai, pta nhi aageh kya hoga kab hoga magr mujhe bishwash hai ki hoga zarur! Toh isi bishwash ko saath lekar I'll move forward and yes will live in the present and learn and try yeah!! :))

1) continue with the same subject until the chapter gets over. Flow tut jayega toh sahi ni rahega.
2) yes, you can add other subjects like bst and english on Saturday and Sunday.
3) ek din me 2 subject maximum.
4) yes study accounts and maths daily. It will make you perfect. Practice maximum.
5)for managing time for self study minimize rest and give atleast 1-2 hrs for self study.
6) mann, don't ignore tuition. Accounts and maths ke liye tuition important hai. Aur agar apko tuition sahi ni lag rha toh please change it. .
11th ache se padho. 12th me zyada dikkat ni ayegi.!

I would say tuition only for accounts, maths aur agar economics mushkil lage toh economics bhi lelo tuition.I would say save time by avoiding eco tuition. Eco is easy. Some topics are difficult, study them through CZcams. I did the same and scored 36/40 in eco 11th finals

Delhi university does not only make you a good candidate for the fights for placements but the main contribution of DU is to make you cool, strong and fighter in your life, you will learn here how to deal with problems in absence of parents or any other support.
If you explore your college life in different fields, making good networks, managing time with societies and classes{only for attendance :) } and communicating the diversity of India and analyzing and learning things, you will be a better personality after your college life.
In my college, (Hindu) literally I met with all states' students including all north eastern and southern states of India as well as foreign students of Korea, Nigeria and others countries. We get a chance to interact with entire India in du which I guarantee you, will not get in any other university or college.
The fest season of DU, will entertain you and also if you will be in organizing team of any event you will learn how to communicate formally, how to arrange sponsorship and how to make a event 0 to the next level. In Hindu almost every day we have a event or sometimes couple of events to explore and learn.
College life is at the next level in Delhi University.

@@deepeshdaswani1186 i am doing ca too and ca with regular college is difficult as fkkk it's not impossible but it's too difficult and i am a district level basketball player too so I decided to drop out for my passion for basketball and life exploration because after ca no graduation degree matters . Ca is the highest qualification in commerce stream.+ Attendance in Venky is too strict u need to maintain 70% otherwise no admit card but for ca u have to go for coachings in the morning so not possible to attend college, so clearly i made a choice. But covid ruined my plans 😑😑.

Covid ruined my plan because due to covid colleges were shut so I can easily take my ca classes + basketball stadiums were also shut so can't practice that too 🥲 + covid passed everyone 🥲 so no hustle at all 🥲 free ki degree mil jaati agar patta hota covid aane wala hai that's the only reason I regret 😂. But koi na kismat kharab thi 🥲 1 saal ki fees bhi waste hogayi 🥲

Its professional course (it's all about the choice) if one is into research /academics should go for du, like one of my frd got 99.8 percentile in jee advance but he opted for chem hnrs in Stephens as he felt he didn't enjoy the process for prepping for jee so how would he further enjoy engineering and all those stuff, he wanted to pursue research further (so go what makes you happy at the end!,don't compare)
