Sartaaj obtained an honours degree in music from Government College, Hoshiarpur. He concentrated on his musical career while completing his MPhil in Sufi music singing and later a PhD in Sufi singing (gayan) from Panjab University, Chandigarh. He also taught music at Panjab University for six years. Sartaaj also completed a certificate course and Diploma in Persian language.[1] He started writing poetry and adopted his Takhallus, Sartaaj, while at college.🙏🙏🙏🙏Although he has taught at the university and is an accomplished bhangra performer, composer and singer, Sartaaj has said that he considers shayari (poetry) as his first love👍👍😊😊

Maybe you don't know exactly about Dr. Satinder Sartaaj Sahab. Research a little about him, you will get to know that he is a living legend of Punjab. He is a poet, a singer, composer, a PHD in music, UN ambassador of peace, lecturer of music in Punjab university Chandigarh, innovated a new musical instrument, a Bhangra team player of Punjab university Chandigarh. And a lot more. You have not even scratched the surface. And please be humble while you take his name, he is not a ordinary singer or person.
We know about Satinder Sartaj....and respect him as an artist....but you do not know about us......i am also a well known Poet, writer, author of twenty books...i have done masters in , Journalism , Persian and punjabi from punjab university Lahore. I have worked for united Nations as peace keeper in Sudan Africa. A top ranked police officer now retired. I have attended many conferences in Chandigharh University...in Patiala university....i have written a book about my visit to Chandigharh.....Chand, Chandni, Chandigarh....that was also published in Gurmukhi from Chandigarh... I think this should b enough for your knowledge.....so i like Satinder as a singer and educated person....why you r demanding extra respect for him...i think you r not his well wisher....by doing this you r disgracing him.
@@neelmadurrani3273 Well madam with due respect if you have achieved so much, nobody dares to say to you like, "iske gaane", " iski shayari", " ye aisi hai", " ye vaisi hai" on videos, we know how to respect people who have achieved something in life and know how to show basic courtesy. And I was asking for same from you and your son may be (I assume he is your son, if I am wrong than please forgive). And it becomes more necessary when you yourself have achieved so much and it's basic courtesy to talk respectfully about the people who are not only so successful but also good human beings. But you people you and your son may be, I have seen all of your Dr. Satinder Sartaaj Sahab reaction videos and in all you and your son, have liked all songs but were not that respectful to the legend.
