This. This is why Trevor Noah is the new host of the Daily Show. Now I know that he doesn't write all of the material himself, but I'm pretty sure he has an input on where to focus with the content, just like Jon Stewart kept his knives sharpened for Fox News.
And this message of pulling your own head out of your own ass and getting out of your own comfort zone, which he even stresses goes for BOTH parties, is just as important for today as it was back then to expose the lies of Fox News.

Yeah, people have been tearing him down because he's not as funny as Jon Stewart but they forget that Stewart had a decade of experience behind him before he left. Check out Stewart's early Daily Show stuff, it's not nearly as funny - Trevor Noah's getting better and I don't doubt he'll continue to do so.

My favorite segments though have been his take on the media. This video and another where he played whole clips of what the candidate actually said and what the media reported they said. It was actually enlightening.
I was really disappointed with his performance when he first took over, and I quit watching. I saw a clip recently though, and I have to say he has really come into his own.

If you've seen a lot of Trevor's stand up, you'll notice he's made fun of liberals just as much as he did conservatives. If you believe that Trevor is bent against conservatives, you gotta understand that Comedy Central in general favors a younger, more liberal audience so the producers of the show, from a business standpoint, have an obligation to cater to that audience although any political info is fair game. From this episode you can catch a glimpse of Trevor trying to even the field by criticizing the left and the right for both falling victim to one-sided social media propaganda. Kudos to Trevor!

He isn't making up stories, but he sure is ignoring a lot of them, just as the rest of the pro-Clinton media (CNN, MSNBC). And don't get me wrong, Trump deserves every minute of the pounding he receives, but that's no excuse for giving Clinton a pass for her underhanded tacticts in the primaries, pretending the WikiLeaks emails contained only risotto recepies, rationalizing her speeches to Wall Street as business as usual and ignoring the Project Veritas videos. Check out CZcams channels like TYT Politics, Secular Talk or The Humanist Report to see the contrast.

This piece is Brilliant!!!! Trevor - AS usual, you capture one of the most disturbing and concerning aspects of our society - the lack of objectivity and preference/desire of hearing what we want to hear over what the reality. Part of the solution to this problem lies in our secondary education system. We need to find ways to more effectively teach the principles of the scientific method as in understanding the following: a hypothesis, the findings, the strengths and limitations of the methods used to acquire the findings and the interpretation of those findings as well as ALTERNATIVE interpretations.
