My name is Chrome i have been living in y cargo van for 6 years now. I started this lifestyle BROKE and IN DEBT and after 11 months of living the van life i cleared my debt and started to put my life back together and build for a better future. I have turned my original van into a badass camper van that is lifted with all the toys. Over the years i went from being broke and stealth camping in the city and sleeping at walmarts... to now, living fulltime in a jacked up van and driving deep off-grid into the backcountry and living life in the dirt. WOW LIFE HAS CHANGED.

I’m in Oregon and we have a ton of dogwood trees. I just purchased a red flowered one. I’ve never seen the red before just white & light pink. I’m very excited to see have it.

Jealous of it being warm!! woke up to a TON of smoke near tumbler ridge. but had an epic northern lights show last night.
Yes, we are close I am in the Grande Prairie area, exactly this the Northern lights were spectacular.... and this smoke is awful, there was an evacuation notice for the County of GP 1 north-east of my residence here. I am originally from the island and was just there for 6 weeks and came back to all this....
I just disconnected the wires to motor and just manual knob to open/close the vent.

I actually sold my fancy fan because I was sick of errors like that. Went with a simpler one. No more issues!
Starlink has a new feature where you can disable to tilt so dishy just lays flat and points straight up. It can help when you're in areas with trees and such.
Chrome you might be able to retro fit AC to your van. The van must have had an option to have it fixed from factory
I think the van has AC, it's just degassed because of the engine work, and Chrome hasn't got around to fixing it yet.

Thank you, Chrome it was an awesome video. I can do with all the relaxing I can get on Monday. We start the race to do touch-ups on the house with a contractor and start packing up everything that is not essential, then put the house up for sale, then move into retirement ❤❤

Here in Oregon we finally got summer. It went from basically winter weather to summer in one day highs of around 62 to highs of 80. warming up again out there right now. Had to ditch the winter tactical boots and sock for Sandals, tactical pants for cargo shorts.
Hopefully no wildfires for a while

I forgot to push the window lock button and to roll down my back window In my forerunner is on the console. My dog stepped on that button yesterday. When we were going down a dirt road, And my back window was down. I didn't notice because my window covers are up. they're up all the time back there, and SOOO much dust came in, it's ridiculous.. 🤦♀️

My stove died 9 years ago. I have been cooking on one burner ever since. Ii have a countertop oven. I bought a Korean round hibachi and wok for summer, though. Yum! No Asian food within 60 miles, sheesh, and I only know stir fry.
Work is important but so is self care. We are all entitled to a rejuvenate day to decompress to avoid burnout. You had a beautiful spot today for sure. Love seeing Cruzie walking around that beautiful stream. Peace out weirdos ✌️✌️ Smooches for Cruzie 💋 🐾 🦴

Work vs. Some relax time, we have to work, but if you haven't replenished your batteries, no energy to work, and as we get older hard to force. So, promise of some work, then after, time for a longish downtime. Can you take two days off? Veges, yes, yes!!!
Re the light bar. If you drill some holes in the bottom for water to get out. I use to do that for my car lights.
That is a beautiful drive. We are so lucky to live where we do.
Dinner spot was rigt on! Here's a suggestion - mount Cruise's stairs outside, you will always have the door open when they are put to use.

... (probably) useless fact. Dogwood blossoms are not actually flowers, but modified leaves (bracts). The real "flowers" are the tiny nodules (which are the buds), in the centre of the 4, coloured/colored bracts. Okay, I'll be quiet now. WUW! 😉😁

Chrome, im obsessed with those gorgeous dogwood flowers! Theyre so pretty! The beauty of Canada and all of its kind, helpful people and plenty of places to wild camp seriously makes me want to relocate there. The States has beautiful places but Canada is 🙌.

To much water in your pan for veggies,Chrome,put a pan lid on it leave a gap for steam to escape so much faster cooking.

May I suggest, less water in the pan and get yourself a metal folding steamer. Steam penetrates much faster and you’ll consume much less water and less cooking fuel. Save the water for gravy, or just consume with dinner as a warm veggie tea, you’ll be surprised at the flavour and the nutrients that the water has picked up during the steaming process. the deeper colour the water the more nutrients. P.s. put a lid on the pot 🚐 Happy trails

Dogwood trees are big in the South too. In fact the town down the road from me has the Dogwood festival every spring.

So far, my favorite adventure has been hammock camping and discovering every little thing there is to discover on the bike and hiking trails of Lincoln NE. I did that for 3 years. Did you know that in many of big city places there's state parkland within the city? It's pretty awesome.
I notice your van is less noisy on the road since you put cushioning material between the furniture and the sidewalls. We dont hear the drawers and the cutlery inside rattle as much. I guess you noticed that too. Please go back to this site, it is gorgeous, I like to see you relax.

I bought 3 of those cheap nlight 40 inch curved light bars well bought one and got 2 for free under warranty. So garbaged them and bought a auxbeam light bar and no moisture in it after having it on my truck all winter .
Love your content. I am currently saving to buy myself a cargo van to start van life. I plan on living in the van well converting it so I can get a better idea of what I want in the van and where I want to put things.

I just fixed my fan that had the same problem. Your lithium battery sends too much current to the motherboard. Get a 9v to 36v 12v regulator to regulate the current from the battery
