- Hi youtube folks! In this video, I activate the Oil Temperature gauge in my BMW F30 330i xDrive. It is a simple mod that can be achieved using an FDL coding software/app like BimmerCode.

Thanks for the video but the Guage does not move
My bro your vid is sick you should be a teacher in a school you inspired me to do this i was nervous to mess with it but you helped me thanks
Very useful information and well explained step by step 👍
And wrong. This procedure activates coolant temperature, not oil temperature. If all you "coders" would just read your BMW Owners Manual, you'd know what the gauges on your dashboard are.
Bro thanck you so much for this coding 👌, i just coded my bmw 218d with it 🥳
Well it seems liker the gauge is not moving with me also
Awesome video! Earned a sub
Thanks it worked 👌🏻
Easy. Thanks!
Oil Temperature is on the right side of the cluster. its water temp what u activated with bimmercode...
good one 🦾
But its not moving at all, maybe something else also needed to be coded?
can you do it with the boost gauge??
tha reproduces the gauche to the right. is it possible to have a number? since when it's below 70 you can't know the value with the gauge
Quality content right here mate! My girlfriend really loves your content. She also finds you very handsome. We would like to see more of you in the videos. If you're ever coming to Edmonton, we'd love to show you around & take you out for dinner. Looking forward to more videos.
For sure! Appreciate the kind words 🤗

Can it be done on a e90?
hi,
I followed your instructions but it doesn't work on my BMW F36 (10-2015) luxury navy pro.
do you have any advice for me.?
I have to change something else.?
thank you
Only on LCI
oil is at most 100º and water temp. is cold ?? this can be enabled but won't work m8
Thanks for taking the time for this. I believe it is the coolant temp. I got the gauge to come up but as others have stated, the gauge is inactive for me. Is there another code to turn on the gauge?
Same problem, did you solve it?
@@leonardobuffet7917 Never messed with it anymore.
It s working only on LCI models guys
@@Sebastiansxx01i have lci but not working

sir coolant temperature there is a code
This is water temperature 🤣
Anyone found how to make it actually work ?? It appears but white needle stays on cold side…
It s working only on LCI models
Anyone tried on a BMW F48 2018?
your description is not correctly. you have activated the water temp gauge now. the oil temp has always been visible in the original instrument cluster on the right hand side. F30 displays oil temp. Since the G series they are showing water temp. nevertheless. It is a very usefull video. Good job
Hi do you know where to find water temperature gauge in bimmercode so it can be aktivetet?😊
Hi mate any idea why the display apears but dous not work the white bar dous not move ???? On my M140i 2017
I habe same problem
@@otakardavodov1543 it dous not work i asked bimmercode but no repl so i gave up
If it doesn't move, your vehicle is not equipped with the registering software. The same happens when people code sport gauges, if the car doesn't have the relevant sensors to read the levels they will not work and are purely a visual display.
Is there any way to install or something to make the sport gauges work?
@@adrianobrumat7600 not unless you want to spend a fortune, no.
@@thesteveo1975 ok thx for ur answer
My friend your white bar did not move and there was no ok or cold sighn what you doing ?
It's stays static... no moves
That's actually the coolant temp. and I doubt that it works, I never got a reading from it
Can you code the heated seats to work on expert mode. My E60 had no heated seats and I bought the switches for it not they still don't work.
HAHA!! 🤣Good one! Can you also code in 2 more cylinders and 100 extra horsepower!! 😂
Its not engine oil temp. Its cooling water temp. I active this and its not working. Every time the same temperature.
cause car doesnt have the sensors
@@contentmaker7777 but it should have sensor. When problems with thermostat or water pump when i know temperature is too high? Something must be there to knows.
F21 2015 works?
yes i have it
@@ephixum9068 how u do it mine only appears but doesnt work

The little analogue dial on the right of the dashboard is oil temperature!!! Why have a digital one too???
It's Bimmer Code NOT Beemer Code! ( even if the people at the company don't know how to pronounce German words for BMW ) A Beemer is a BMW motorcycle.
That doesn't work, you won't get any measurement from it
Background music is horrible and ruined the entire video
