The victim always said it Sean Combs. Shyne always said he was innocent. Bare in mind Gene Deal and even Freddy P revealed Sean Combs was a C.I. for the Feds. Which when you do the maths you realise this is why he's been getting away for so long with all the drama and tragedy he is involved in.
The victim? Three people were hit that night and two of them said it was Shyne. The third victim said she seen muzzle blast from both Shyne and Diddy's firearm before she was hit but don't know which one hit her. None of the victims testified that Diddy was the one who hit them

When 2 or more ppl agree to partake in criminal activity and one gets caught, then that person tells on the other individual(s) who got away; that's Snitching.
If you do some illegal sh*t, get caught up, then ask the homie, who had no idea you were finna do something illegal, to take the fall but he doesn't and clears his own name, he's not a snitch.
In the streets, if you put the innocent homie in harms way and try to get him to take the fall, the neighborhood and OGs would deal with YOU accordingly. That's how the game used to go anyway.
Crazy how snitching has become this coverall word even when it don’t fit. Especially the snitching allegations that get thrown around these days is when a civilian who had nothing to do with committing a so-called crime talks to enforcement. That’s telling, reporting, informing, making a statement, testifying, etc, yet not snitching or being a rat. It’s a civilian doing their civic duty.
