- The divers of the Woodville Karst Plain Project make the historic connection between the Leon Sinks and Wakulla Springs cave systems. The combined length of the cave systems is approximately 28 miles. The distance from Turner Sink to Wakulla Springs is approximately 7 miles at an average depth of 270ft. The dive is the result of 17 years of exploration by the WKPP. Video by Casey McKinlay, Jarrod Jablonski, Anthony Rue; lighting support by Andreas Hagberg and Todd Leonard
Amazing video, one of the best tech diving accomplishments i have ever seen or heard of. You guys are much braver and crazier than 99% of tech divers like myself.
Awesome. Thanks for helping to save the aquifer.
Was talking to one of the park rangers at Wakulla today. We're talking about the exploits and many of the people who were the original pioneers back in the day Jared, Casey, George. Park ranger was a lifeguard back in the day and we actually kind of relived that time. His description of the divers and their accomplishments were the 1% of the 1% of the 1%. The equivalent of the astronauts and landed on the moon and the only people in probably 100 lifetimes that will ever make discoveries like they did and Wakulla.
so good!
Dude, this is BATTLES!!
With "Peruvian skies" on the DIR 3 video and "race out" on this vid, you know some one is a prog fan in the WKPP.
Wow, that is all I can really say.
Cool music, who is it?
