PLEASE MAKE A DOCUMENTARY FILM ABOUT THE WAKUULA SPRING AND LEON SINK CONNECTION AND THE GRAND TRAVERSE JARROD AND CASEY DID SHORTLY THEREAFTER? PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE!!! Hell, knock on Nat Geo's door for $ to make the film.
Most most people don't realize that when Casey McKinley and Jarrod Jablonski made the coveted commection between Wakuula and Leon, I think ot was only a few days later I believe and they did a complete traverse cave diving from Wakuula Spring all thw way to Leon sink which is roughly 7.5 miles away. The depth of water at more than 250 ffw average definitely helped attribute to the extremely long decompression times thus taking the team of two divers 26.5 hours to complete the traverse from submersion to exit.
Thanks, but no info? Robert Pete Williams? Always get's me in a kind of trance.. Visually beautiful too!
Was talking to one of the park rangers at Wakulla today. We're talking about the exploits and many of the people who were the original pioneers back in the day Jared, Casey, George. Park ranger was a lifeguard back in the day and we actually kind of relived that time. His description of the divers and their accomplishments were the 1% of the 1% of the 1%. The equivalent of the astronauts and landed on the moon and the only people in probably 100 lifetimes that will ever make discoveries like they did and Wakulla.
Truly amazing. Wish they had a museum at Wakulla to show the history that is associated with this spring and all that has been accomplished.
Awesome. Thanks for helping to save the aquifer.
so good!
good to see ya DIR.. I hear way too many stories of very experienced cave divers buying it in caves.. I'm a rec diver, and don't think Ill ever get in to such intense diving so really love the videos!
Wakulla spring en Floride, c'est le plus grand siphon naturel du monde, je pense. Il fait plus de 300 mètres de fond et 11 km de longueur.
HAHA, good question. These divers are all outfitted in Drysuits. They use a condom catheter and P-valve. Some divers even utilize a diaper for anything else in a drysuit. Keep on diving @buttonsjr, if you are interested in furthering your education or want to learn more about DIR diving please check out the global underwater explorers
For these extremely long dives how do yall use the restroom in your dry suits? Do you guys really hold it for the entire duration of the dive? Fellow Tech diver here, im just not crazy like yall.
Amazing video, one of the best tech diving accomplishments i have ever seen or heard of. You guys are much braver and crazier than 99% of tech divers like myself.
Sick bad ass M***** ****** dare devils i wish i know where to learn to dive like that. whats the name of the music please??
Wow, that is all I can really say.
@Emmodiver it's used to identify flow and connections between caves/systems.
Nice work gentlemen:)
the music choice for this is terrible, it makes me want to kick puppys
madness!!!
@BeckyKagan I agree, much better, it is already a fascinating story!
i wish you add a voice track over to comment the events. text goes over a beautiful footage, i cannot read and enjoy at the same time.
Nice, thanks for posting, and what music is this ?
How can you manage the crocodiles?
Dude, this is BATTLES!! With "Peruvian skies" on the DIR 3 video and "race out" on this vid, you know some one is a prog fan in the WKPP.
Do you live near these sinks?
Cool music, who is it?
wooferitch: Yeah! I love that music! Is that yours?
preveze: it sucks
uzhas kakoi
BeckyKagan: do you think so? it looks awful.
redviper101: they do not need it. they need the record
Does anyone know the name of the band? Musics are by Wooferbitch but band is not stated...

stunning. almost worth going DIR for ;)
Right, whatever
This is the most daft thing I've heard in a VERY long time
Look a fat guy with thick glasses can ´t be an exolorer just cause he sits in fornt of a Computer! Explorations are only for real tough guys like them from the WKPP or me xD
