He’s not a gaffer, never has been. He doesn’t know how to read a game and change tactics. “You boys need to fight” “it’s all about up mentality” “we need to be faster” “let’s get on the ball” He just says the most generic stuff, no actual substance.

Harry was the best defender on the field what are you talking about he made a few errors but that’s only because he was actually trying and putting himself in positions to make errors. Harry won more headers then rest of the backline combined
You can talk about Harry as much as you want but he has been class for UTR this season. The key to this game was the MIDFIELD. UTR needs to have a solid core and the midfield needs stability to protect the defence and also distribute play out more efficiently. Market also dominated the midfield on sheer Size alone - the likes of Eric and Manny are fine when we are playing intricate football and can string passes together but if a team introduces even a little bit of physicality and aerial play into their game, UTR can't compete atm.
Secondly, UTR needs to get better at defending set pieces. So many goals have been conceded this season by 2nd or 3rd balls calling to opposition players in the box while UTR players look to be ball- watching or at the very least protecting the ball.
This is not so much as a personnel problem as it is a system problem. Sure, there should be a concerned affort to reinforce the midfield with more physical and technical players but there should also be some work down into the systems and patterns of play and defending. EG. off the ball movement to stretch opposition formations and create space.
This is a learning season. We move onward!

Having played against Market numerous times in the same league, I can confirm they are no pushover with a lot of great players. Always tactically drilled and individually they always perform. Unlucky UTR!

I’ve been watching UTR on and off since the beginning but in all honesty it’s just hard to watch now.
I loved when it was a family club with Manny, Tobi & Jed all playing with smiles on their faces. Now it just seems like a bunch of random guys every week who I don’t really know or care about.

Market Hotel look like a proper semi-pro team to be honest. They are more organized and are at a different level tactically. I don't think talent wise they are ahead of the UTR players, however they just look a lot closer to a professional team than UTR.

Not putting pressure at the attackers If I were marf I'd put Sam in RW and I would bring a Strong Striker but I would also bring aggressive and ball playing Defenders in the Squad there was loads of Chances to lead but they were not taken also need a shooting And Defending Master In Midfield so he can bring the confidence and strength of the team

Mid couldn’t give a single thru ball had plenty of times were players made perfect runs but players are too busy dribbling and also too busy attacking there is no defense helping the back line man
The goalkeeper need some competition, he’s been a bit shaky at the back, defenders need to protect the goal keeper, fight for all those second ball , don’t try and take the ball from the back and go score , you should be playing passing game , moving the ball.
Midfielders need to pass the ball, don’t try and be the main man, it’s a team sport .my strikers shoot the ball , test the keeper , punish him

honest to god , that was absolutely atrocious from utr, as soon as they scored the second goal in the second half they all switched off , only player i saw battling was harry but it can’t be left to one person , all the players should be ashamed about what they’ve put out and disappointed the fans and everyone else , i love utr i always will but there is a lot of work that needs to be done considering this season and after watching a performance like that in a cup final especially.
