  • In this video we spend a little bit of time on the Macro Effects feature of the Maschine MK3. This feature along with ‘Lock Mode’ makes the operation in a LIVE Set-Up a lot more productive when using Effects and commonly used parameters.

    @Noisegate sorry for late comment;
    Do you think I could set up my Mk3 to do Reggae DUB style , with knobs assigned to do those classic DUB delays and such?

    One more question.. so I figured out how to apply effects to the group.. But how do I keep the automation in just one or two patterns without the affecting the rest is the group?? Thank you again!

    • @Noisegate
      @Noisegate  Před 6 lety +1

      Hey Rico, Make sure that you are on the Sound level to apply automation to individual sounds on sounds slots. Select the group level to apply automation to a group of sounds.

      CMI Music & Audio ahhh gotcha!! I'm an idiot haha. Totally get it, duh! First time working with native instruments and maschine on this but I love it and it's very user friendly. Some things are so easy that I make it much more complicated than it actually is on this beast.

  • @ignaciollobera6826

    Great video! Thanks! However, on performing with macros, it is a downer that the macros disappear from screen (and knobs) when pressing Mute button. You simply cannot keep tweaking and simultaneously mute/unmute. Any idea on how to improve that? thanks!

      @@Noisegate thanks 👍🏼 I'll have to check it out after I have a better grasp on how mine works; I know NI has a kinda cool reggae sound pack (Black Arc, or something) for 50 USD, too

    I have fxs running every time I record. It's underneath volcity in the record section how do I get rid of them and just have volcity can send a video if nessesary thankyou in advance

    • @Noisegate
      @Noisegate  Před 5 lety

      Seem's like you have accidentally applied automation to your effects. When ever the "AUTO" button is illuminated or active, it will record any movements of the encoders that you make - this is called automation. Make sure that this button is not on if you do not wish to apply automation. To delete automation, on Maschine simply press and hold the "erase" button in the transport section and touch the corresponding parameter that you automated, or in Maschine software click the X on the parameter lane you want to delete.

      Hey Brandon, Check out the Native Instruments Playlist on this YOU TUBE Channel for more MK3 Videos

    • @Noisegate
      @Noisegate  Před 6 lety +2

      If you want to add effect to a group, select the group level - then make sure the “PLUS” icon is selected, press the encoder to then enter the effects menu, scroll through the effects that you wish to choose. Same procedure for applying effects on the SOUND level

      Unfortunately not. It’s a feature unique to the MK3.
