You really have a knack for explaining things you're doing along with your video edits... • @Hexspa
      @Hexspa Před 4 lety

      One thing for those who might be wondering: if you apply your slices to a group directly - without hitting Button 5/Single - then only the first 16 slices are exported. Not good in this case. If you have more slices, you have to 'apply' them all via single mode to different groups. Of course, each group can only have 16 sounds. Alternatively, you could pre-remove all but the 16 sounds you want; if you only want that many.

    Hey Jef, I'm a newcomer here. I have sworn to Ableton Live and Push, but got a good deal on Maschine a few months ago. It's always good to not restrict yourself too much, although I do actually find that limitations often help the creative process (not that Push is limiting!). I digress. Just wanted to say I really enjoy your vids for learning the Maschine, which I find less intuitive than Push, but still a nice piece of equipment. Keep them coming, truly inspiring for your talent and you're a really good teacher. Thanks! There is one thing that keeps me from using the Maschine more actively, and that is the problem Maschine has by clipping and slowing down way too early in the process, which stops the creative flow. I end up just exporting the clips to Ableton and take it from there. I would like to see your take on this.

    If you want to keep your edits,do not record or drop the sample in " sample mode". First put an audio module on the sound.Then go to record or drag in your sample. Make your edits,THEN convert it to sample. It will maintain all your edits and stretching,and you can just go to slice mode.

    U just sold me on this. I'm a bedroom dj that wants to dabble with music production. I don't like the layout on ableton but Push looks interesting. I think i can work with the layout of Maschine. U made the Mk3 look easy. I've used NCH software to edit mixes on my phone and this is similar........... Yea, I think u sold me
