What happens to the media info and map on the multifunction gauge screen?

how is the quality of the sound? is it same as the stock unit? compatible with Bose system?

I think it's slightly worse than the stock unit using the current preset equalizer settings. Go to about the 8 minute mark and I talk about it. With the equalizer settings customized, I think it can sound just as good if not better from what I have heard with others who have installed similar systems.

After playing with and tweaking the extensive equalizer curves, was able to get the sound quality to be even better than stock!
