- DAMPYR, girato interamente in lingua inglese, è una produzione impressionante con un budget di oltre 15 milioni di dollari; questo primo film del Bonelli Cinematic Universe annovera dietro le quinte le migliori maestranze del cinema italiano: l'Hair Designer Giorgio Gregorini, Premio Oscar® per il Miglior Trucco ed acconciatura nel film Suicide Squad, la Makeup Designer Francesca Galafassi ("Game of Thrones", Ben-Hur), Vladimir 'Furdo' Furdik come Fight Choreographer (Skyfall, "Game of Thrones", "The Witcher"), Lubomir Misak come Supervising Stunt Coordinator ("Game of Thrones", The Last Legion, Kingdom of Heaven) e Giovanni Casalnuovo come Costume Designer (Wanted, Romeo & Juliet, Beowulf).
I producer sono Roberto Proia, Vincenzo Sarno, Andrea Sgaravatti.
Il film, basato sulla serie a fumetti creata da Mauro Boselli e Maurizio Colombo, è sceneggiato da Mauro Boselli, Giovanni Masi, Alberto Ostini, Mauro Uzzeo. Un cast tutto internazionale in cui Dampyr è Wade Briggs (Still Star Crossed, Please Like Me, “Foundation”, “His Dark Materials”), Stuart Martin è Emil Kurjak ("Jamestown", "Medici", "Crossing Lines") e Frida Gustavsson è Tesla ("Dröm", "Eld Lagor", "Arne Dahl", “Vikings: Valhalla”). Al loro fianco, David Morrissey come Gorka ("Britannia", "The Missing", "Good Omens", "The Walking Dead"), Sebastian Croft come Yuri ("Game of Thrones", "Horrible Histories: The Movie", “Doom Patrol”, “Heartstopper”) e Luke Roberts a interpretare Draka ("Game of Thrones", "Pirates of the Caribbean", 300: Rise of an Empire, The Batman). - Krátké a kreslené filmy
Amazing!! Based on the trailer and all the clips I've seen this truly looks and feels like a REAL vampire movie. Something that has been missing from both tv and cinema for a long time. Mostly garbage out there. The vampire mythology of these Italian comics is one of THE BEST in existence hands down.
This movie needs and deserves MAJOR advertising and we need a proper international release. If not theaters then streaming.
I already KNOW that I want this masterpiece in my extensive(but very selective)vampire collection.
Day one purchase for me on blu ray or even better 4k.
PLEASE release this movie everywhere(not just in Italy). I live in Canada.I NEED IT NOW!

P.S. A few years ago I almost purchased the first 220 fumetti of dampyr and all the maxi and specials fumetti(available up until that time) a total of maybe 300.but unfortunately the shipping cost hundreds of dollars as much as the collection. I renounced.
Non sarà un film perfetto ma è certamente un esperimento interessante, meritava un incasso maggiore

È già tanto se con una perdita del genere sono rimasti a piede libero. Rimarrà nei sogni.

A me questo film è piaciuto un sacco...e sono davvero dispiaciuto del successo scarso che ha riscontrato (almeno in Italia).
Per dire, io in sala ero COMPLETAMENTE solo...
Quando ci sono andata io eravamo in cinque, però peccato perchè il prodotto è fatto bene

É strano come nonostante l'impegno produttivo, risulti simile a una fiction Mediaset. Ha qualcosa alla fantaghirò. Secondo me già la scelta del regista é stata sbagliata, é troppo scontato, poca visione, un po' dozzinale.

Ha poco da raccontare ‘sto film, ma viva Iddio che stiamo facendo film diversi da Camera e cucina e drammoni realisti.
Devono farne una serie tv.
