Players are incredible. But the video presentation from this angle is horrible. So i am tuning out.
Sometimes I think the camera crew hasn't a clue about the sport or how to televise it.

Are the serve rules no longer in place? Singapore player never has his palm open when throwing the ball, always applying spin with the throw.
i watched carfully every serve he have done during the game in slow motion (0.25) the ball dont even make 1 turn during the throw it change nothing :)
The hand definitely doesn't move as it is allowed even keeping the ball from sight.. He didn't have one correct serve but refs in table tennis are a joke.
Also when I played you had the rule that your racket has to stay above the table for the full motion. Not sure if that's still the case.
Timo played at maybe 70% here. Very glad he l kicked this cheaters ass.

No spin goes into that toss. Look more carefully. Besides the problems with serves are when the Ball gets hvide by head/shoulder/arm.
