    2:19 I had no idea that was possible. I tried that with the 1x2 modified angular plates (99780) and it's wasn't possible, so I assumed this piece would have the same problem. I'm gonna be using that technique a lot.

      During the inside tour, I was talking with a few designers late-night after all the events were done, and I brought up the fact that elements sit high on the two snot on part 99206 (put a 1x2 plate on the two snot, and you'll notice a tiny lip), and they refused to give me an answer and actually seemed to avoid my question haha! This must be the answer!!

    In a way, I think there's more creativity involved in the microbuilds as opposed to the big ones. Yes the big ones are awe inspiring, and I'm sure all have interesting techniques. But the small ones pretty much require you to introduce funky techniques, and think outside the box. In fact, I like this one so much that when I'm gonna order parts, I'll make sure to include this as well. So I would definitely like to see more of this in the future!

    • @fortnitesexman
      @fortnitesexman Před rokem

      heavily disagree, a minibuild only requires a few creative techniques, while something like the at at and millenium falcon require TONS of different techniques throughout the building process, and have what is essentially minibuilds in them already (the benches on the titanic is a good example)
      when a set is big, it's usually always because it needed to be so to capture the necessary amount of detail, and due to their size, it takes an insane amount of creativity to have the whole thing, with every little itty bitty detail, come together to a full set
