Normally, I feel like some bubbles in underwater resin scenes don't really detract from the piece overall, but I must admit there were a few unfortunate ones in this pour. But your fix with the red dye looked SO DAMN GOOD. I would wonder if you could replicate it on purpose it's so good.

These resin pieces are always so well done. The bubbles always work out in the end for you, in this piece they add movement imo. The way in which the red resin dispersed throughout the blue resin is also very effective. Also, since the 'sharkasaurus' has no blood near its mouth, it can be inferred that this apex predator sometimes hunts for fun or simply to eliminate other predators.

My dude, this is so random and the sculp is so nice!!!! Awesome!
And two small tips here: try making the form with less trim on the sides, and putting it to cure in a pressure pot/chamber, so that any bubbles inside the resin get squashed into imperceptible tiny sizes. The other one, try to seal the base and sculpture before you do any pours. Basically "painting" (quite a few methods to do the same, including just brushing it like paint) a relatively thin resin layer top of the sculpture and base and let it cure, displacing air as you apply it and trapping the rest inside the shell it becomes.

And thirdly, I actually love the air bubble underneath him! It gives the illusion that he's just crashed down on the other shark or brought his leg down onto it from above the water, and moved so fast the air bubbles haven't escaped from under him yet. Idea: pouring coloured resin in stages is tricky because you get dividing lines, because you can't get the colour exactly right. Is it possible to mix the colour with only one part of the resin, then take a portion of that at a time to mix with the other part?
Love your sculpture as always. He looks amazing❤

I was going to suggest the same as well . Theoretically speaking, by doing layers, he could have other things floating at different heights, if needed, without needing strings or other supports that might cause issues.

Though it lacks the world shattering hip checks of the Plesioth, it more than makes up for with staggering movement speed both on land and in water, as well as powerful lunging bite attacks. Armor Skills include Marathon Runner, Speed Eating, and Attack Boost

I really love this one! I don't think the bubbles take away from the piece at all. If anything it adds to the entire scene. I mean it is an underwater scene, and there are bubbles in the water. I really enjoyed this video.

The end result with the glamour shots are terrifying but the way you narrate the creation process is so absurdly hilarious that I’m starting to think that the opposite of fear may actually comedy, like you tackle a scream of horror with its natural opposite: laughter

I came over to this video because it was mentioned in the Shark/Dragon video (which my bf sent to me) and I'm super excited to see the final result because I drew a Sharkosaurus Rex for an art project when I was in middle school like 7 years ago. While middle school me would be sad that I wasn't original, adult me is excited to see a full visualization of something I drew forever ago. (And thanks to another comment elsewhere, apparently there's a video game I need to find and try with one of these guys in it). Anyways, these are super cool and kind of make me want to start drawing again

When I've seen people make models inside resin like this, they normally do a coat on the model itself to trap any air inside from escaping during the main pour, and I've seen them keep the curing model inside a fridge or freezer in order to control the temperature.

The velocigator can reach a top speed of 53 mph in jungle terrain.
