Andrew is the man. He is so awesome at responding emails and hooking you up. Just ordered the sl-300 combo pack. Good to put a face to someone awesome. Great video bro. I gotta add you to my new IG account. Old one got hacked and deleted lol.
I am super pumped I waited for these to come out instead of jumping on the SL-200. Great video and totally sold on getting a set for my board. I’ve also experimented with mounting bike lights on my board but the vibrations are just too much for anything other than the s-lock design.
Yep did you hear what happened to me it’s in the true story part of the video. If you decide on the lights I have a shred light link in description to support the channel. 🤟🤟 ride safe.
I have the 200s and I like them. What I would like to see is the ability to adjust the lights pitch up and down to suit particular boards. The beams hit at different points depending on what kind of board I am riding. If its super flexy, the light throw tends to go up a bit high, and stiff decks can be a bit too low. Having the ability to tune the throw would be a nicety. Great lights regardless!
300 lumens is not enough. 600 is not enough. What about a serious light with a dedicated battery pack or one that can handle 30-60v for esk8 riders. Also a surface angled mount for mountainboards.
They have a 1000 lumen light. We discuss it in the video. I think the 300 is fine. I wear a 1000 liken on my helmet and 300 on the board. But if it’s not enough get the 1000 lumen.
@@MrPhillipsTheChangeAgent 1000 lumens is more like it. Thats a good starting point. I would consider that entry lvl. Compared to what else is out there. What led chip are you using on the 1000lumen model? I build light sabers and have some knowledge of different chips from cree.
1000 Lumens, "not 300, not 600", in a very condensed waterproof package that fits above skateboard trucks quickly, securely and discreetly is pretty thoughtful designing. If you need a street light to see you might want to strap a giant LED flash light to the front of your board. I have both of these lights and they are fantastic.
@@robinhillierelectricrealto4409 in the dark speed is limited by vision. Cant go fast if you cant see far ahead. I just want to feel comfortable and not limited at night. Height seems to help also so i feel a helmet light is probably the way to go here if you wanna go fast at night.

Great video. Thanks talked to Andrew a few times and gave them a tips on how to flip bracket and lock rear lights on G3 so they don’t fall off.
Oh yeah. Looks like things are kicking back up too. Hopefully we can get things back together.
I wanted to visit them last December when I was in SoCal but pandemic 😷 wouldn’t let me. Glad you were able to meet them.
Cool they are some down to earth people. Pandemic tearing its head some more.

That top flap looks a bit odd just sticking up like that

Hey philip I have ownbord w2 pro I couldn’t find any light for my board because of belt and cables do you have any recommendations?
Mount the lights on top of the board by placing mounts on top of board. I put the Angled mounts on the back on the top.
