I've been to Jallianwala bagh. And the worst part about the place is that people go there and take pictures for instagram and have picnics in the garden. My own extended family got something to eat from outside the bagh and then spread a mat and had a hearty picnic right in the middle of Jallianwala bagh. And my family wasn't the only one doing that. I cried a lot that day, not just because of the history of the place, but because of how easy it is to forget it. We need to value these moments of history. I am not asking people to think about all this everyday, but at least respect the place and the people that lost their lives.

But if you think about it, the people who sacrificed their lives in jallianwalabagh would have wanted exactly this. A free country where people can roam free, laugh, enjoy and have picnics without being oppressed. I am sure their souls are happy when they see happy people in jalianwallabagh.

You always wonder that why are Indians so patriotic??? Then see, these kind of tortures and brutal incidents were tolerated by our freedom fighters to give us freedom. We can't forget that....We must not forget that....Jay Hind🇮🇳🇮🇳🇮🇳

Last 30 minutes of the movie I cried with pain seeing what happened with my brother and sister. British can never be forgiven for what they have done still now few Indians feel proud holding British passport.
I am proud of my country and its people and I will live and die here in my motherland. Bharat Mata Ki Jai , Vande Mataram

I agree that "those" British people can't be forgotten, but the present generation is in no way responsible for the acts of their grandfathers. So hating on present day people is of no use.
It happens with all the countries. USA bombed Japan but now USA & Japan are allies. Same with Germany.
Also people should stop judging everything. You know in almost all the developed countries, it is allowed to have dual nationalities. Why our country doesn't allow? So due to this many have to leave the Indian passport. (Because of doing jobs in developed countries or studying)

@@iitjee8685 I agree today's generation is not at fault but they should acknowledge what their ancestors did of whom they are immensely proud of naming monuments after them. They still have a queen under whose ancestor's name every draconian law was passed. "In name of his majesty, the emperor of India" was written on every law/order. So we agree u r personally not responsible but if u take proud in ur past achievements u better own the horrendous crime u did and apologise publicly as Germany did for crime of Nazis and Dare I say that British Empire was as if not more cruel that Nazi regime which lasted few years as opposed to 3 centuries of British Cruelty.
