    awesome editing! The Americana-color scheme was a very nice touch too. Definitely looks like a lot of hard work paid off in making this body. I look forward to the action scenes now

      +xprinceofmacedonx It's going to be Texas versus Mexico in a reboot of the the battle for the Alamo derby style . . We know how it worked out the first time , but this time the outcome is anybodies guess . I will takes bets though .

      @BillyCLeWorth  Před 8 lety +4

      Contact your local print shops and ask them if they use /recycle their aluminum printing plates . I work in a print shop so i have easy access to used or defective plates . We recycle our plates but would sell them to people who would come in asking for a few or possibly even give a few out for free.They come in various sizes and thicknesses . Pick the thickest ones and you can still cut them with scissors .

      Hey did you ever end up making a body for your crawler. Just ordered a new SCX10 with the Hard Body Cherokee and wanted decided since the body comes in pieces as a kit id make some pieces metal so they dent nice when crawling :D

    Hey I know the chassis is a Redcat chassis however can you provide more info on the what the chassis model is as this would really help.

    • @BillyCLeWorth
      @BillyCLeWorth  Před 6 lety +1

      It was the Lightning EXP drift car .I think all their cars are basically the same platform . They have an oval track NASCAR style car and the only difference between it and the drift car seems to be the wheel/tire combo . They also have some trucks and buggy's that seem to use the same chassis and possibly control arms . I choose the Redcat mostly because of the price and end use .No point in buying something expensive to intentionally crash .As a side note nothing has broken to date but I am hearing a little gear grumble in one of the cars .

    • @BillyCLeWorth
      @BillyCLeWorth  Před 6 lety

      A mid 80s Mustang would be possible as it's rather square but i wouldn't use soda cans because the metal is way too thin . Try aluminum "for sale" signs from Walmart or something similar

    • @suhans2703
      @suhans2703 Před 6 lety

      +Billy C. LeWorth ok bro but for that which type of chassis should I use with shocks or without shocks

    • @BillyCLeWorth
      @BillyCLeWorth  Před 6 lety

      For a demo car i would use a touring car chassis , so shocks . A pan type chassis for oval racing could work but for bashing I'm not so sure . The cheapest road car chassis i know of that's still all around decent is the Redcat 1/10 drift/touring car . Very inexpensive and easy to upgrade .

      It is aluminum sheet printing plates . they are used at print shops then recycled . If you check your local print shop they may donate a few old plates to your cause . If not hit the local hardware store and see what thin aluminum sheets go for or use metal garage sale type signs .You can find those at Walmart etc, . You can also use rolled aluminum sheet that is used for under eaves and eaves trough . Also available at the hardware store .I go for the thinnest cheapest stuff i can find

It makes me laugh every time Thanx for liking my vids too BTW.

They deserve to be wrecked 😆
