In this video I show and discuss how to build and set a figure four deadfall trap. I then successfully trap and cook a 100 percent wild meal from scratch.
So, I'm out in the woods starving. I catch some mice, take my chances on the plants I'm about to eat. Then suddenly down the stream floats a treasure of beer. What a way to finish off my survival meal. Now that I've joked around, it goes to show if you know your plants and can catch a protein source a person can do well.
badass! I'd love to have the knowledge to identify edible mushrooms and wild plants. The only one I can identify is wood leek and it's available only for... 3 weeks a year. Nice skills!!

Those mice looked pretty flat. Did you cook them with the guts?
I wouldn't put much faith in such a rig for food sustenance. I can spend the same amount of time and effort catching deer for large amounts of meat.
