The thing I've been pondering is what can someone do to a bike they already have to make it more capable. For instance myself having an MX bike much like a lot of people. I'd love to see a build series on that. Most of us aren't able to go and buy another bike but may be able to buy parts we can swap on and off depending of the ride.

I'm currently looking at both of these bikes for similar excursions in AZ (I live in Tempe) and I'd be all in on the CRF300L Rally if it weren't for the highway speed issues. How do you feel about that aspect of the bike? Have you been up north with it and if so how did it do on the inclined roads? Thanks for the video! There aren't many comparisons between these two bikes so it was nice to see both on the road and offroad together.
That’s a good question. I have not taken it up the I17 yet. My bike does have the full Yoshi exhaust and 550 performance ECU. I think it would manage at 65mph but it would be good to test it on an episode for sure.
@@Mike.A.Hernandez I live at sea level in NJ and my 2023 CRF300L Rally hits over 80 (GPS verified) on the highway easy. That is empty except for my 220lbs in gear. Now I bought mine used at a dealership with 1800 miles but I believe it's totally stock. I know the tires definitely are.
I guess I am wondering if weight or altitude affects it more, or your opinion?
Plus: I like the graphics package you have. Looks like the "black topo" one I was debating. I do like the dorky "Africa Single" vinyl that looks factory though. Gotta love first world problems!

Too heavy. It’s fun to buy and carry as much as you can but it’s not practical. Unless ye, riding highways and river washes only 🤣
