Sunday Full Highlights | Festival of Speed 2024

- The final day of the 2024 Goodwood Festival of Speed presented by Mastercard topped off the four-day extravaganza in style. We celebrated 20 years of Red Bull on the balcony of Goodwood House with Daniel Ricciardo, Max Verstappen, Sergio Perez, David Coulthard, Christian Klien, Christian Horner, Mark Webber and Adrian Newey. All of which also drove Red Bull F1 cars up the FOS Hill.
Then, the weekend was rounded out by the awesome Timed Shootout, with Romain Dumas, Travis Pastrana and Scott Speed going head-to-head for Goodwood Hill glory in the Ford Supervan 4.2, Subaru GL Family Huckster and Subaru Project Midnight.
We also had stunning supercars, more F2 and F3 stars including Oliver Bearman, Fred Vesti, Sophie Floersch in F1 cars, rally stage and more. These are the highlights of an amazing day.

Cant help but think of all the great minds and mechanics that made it possible to drive all these cars for days. Had to be an absolutely phenomenal group of humans.

I was there. My first time attending in my opinion Europe's premier car event. Boy was it eventful, from seeing the SCG crash in the shootout, seeing and hearing my first proper F1 cars and having special photos with James Vowles and Frederik Vesti. To top it off, seeing 6 Red Bull F1 challengers storm up the hill and being stunned by the pair of McMurtys made this truly special. I'll definitely make a return next year and I cannot wait for it all over again!

2:36 that’s the Ferrari SF71H not SF70H. SF70H was the 2017 car and didn’t have the halo during the 2017 F1 season. 2018 was when the halo was introduced to F1 in which all cars, including the SF71H, had it to improve safety for the driver

This just proves why electric cars aren't as enjoyable. Yeah they're quick but the sounds of an ICE, whether hybrid, N/A or turbo or supercharged are so much more enjoyable. Electric cars have no soul to me. That's what I and probably almost everyone else love! The sound of an ICE.
so do you think all the electric cars were allowed to plug into the dukes electric or was it all diesel generators in a field recharging them?
