I am so memorized by your way of seeing in your mind what it's going to be in the end. Thank you for explaining the use of the sprays before you add the Pastels. Because, I honestly don't see the reason other than not to have white card, because you cover it all up with the Pastels. It's am amazing piece of art Lisa and I always think I've seen your best and you always make another beautiful work of Art. I noticed a change in your clothes. Do you let your work sit awhile and come back to add more later or wait to let it dry? I can't imagine doing a work of Art like this in a few hours. I know it takes Me at least 4-5 hours to make something that can't compare to you talent. Just curious how much time you spend creating such amazing and artistic designs. Thank you Bev Ann! Yes sometimes I work over two days. It gives me time to look at it properly and work out how best to proceed. Also my pieces take at least 6-8 hours so I get quite tired!! Also the first layer of ink helps the pastels to stick and there is always some part of it peeking through. I believe that it adds a richness to the final outcome. 😊🙏❤️

Thank you so much! Yes you can stamp over the hairspray. Just wait for it to dry. It actually prepares the surface really well for stamping. You can add another light layer of pastel on top too. Spray lightly. Avoid heavy layers of anything. Hope that helps. 😊

Thanks so much for this tutorial. I too recently purchased your pastel sticks and had my first go at this style of project. There is definitely a learning curve. I do have one question. I used the stickles as my last finishing touch and it looked great but when they dried, they peeled right off the watercolor paper and pulled the color underneath (water color pencil) off with them. Is there a trick to using the stickles of which I am unaware? Any guidance you can offer would be greatly appreciated! Thank you again for sharing your art with us!
I have never experienced that. Make sure the surface was completely dry before adding them and don’t put too much on. A light touch works well. Not sure what else to suggest. The card also may make a difference. Glad you enjoyed the video. Xx
Your cards are gorgeous. However, i find it hard to follow you as i dont have half of your supplies . I have lots but you so many lol. Can you suggest alternatives to things like pan pastels as they are so expensive x

It’s the creative process that I hope to show more than a step by step. Use what you have and create your own pieces using the techniques. Don’t worry about having everything.😊

I have never experienced that. Make sure the surface was completely dry before adding them and don’t put too much on. A light touch works well. Not sure what else to suggest. The card also may make a difference. Glad you enjoyed the video. Xx

Your cards are gorgeous. However, i find it hard to follow you as i dont have half of your supplies . I have lots but you so many lol. Can you suggest alternatives to things like pan pastels as they are so expensive x

It’s the creative process that I hope to show more than a step by step. Use what you have and create your own pieces using the techniques. Don’t worry about having everything.😊
