2024! This is still the best tutorial of making clothing mockup. Came back here to relearn how to do this. We'd be glad if you could update this tutorial with the current version of Photoshop. But it's already, by far, the best one.
The best CZcams photoshop instructor 👨🏫 #period.
Such a delight to watch Jesús working in Photoshop. His simplicity and humility to teach is so fascinating. Wonderful video. Wonderful teacher. Thanks again Jesús
Thank you, Freddie!
Ya
My conspiracy theory:
Mostly, people don't use someone's name twice in a comment like that. Despite his own hispanic surname, Freddie finds it really funny to keep thanking "Jesus" for the video, diacritic marks notwithstanding.
Wow! I mean - WOW! You really put a lot into this 'patterned shirt'! It's worth it if you use the template often. I loved all the preparations you made for each section - displacement map, Liquify, etc!!
Laying out the patterns to the parts of the shirt reminds me of learning to lay out a sewing pattern along the weave of the fabric off the bolt. Cool tutorial!!
Wow! There is soo much great material in this video: creating vector masks, the key board short cuts, and how to use the different blending modes. Seriously, you put in a lot of time and effort into making this video and your dedication shows.
Thank you!!!
THANKS BRO..COULDN'T FIND THIS ANYWHERE ON YOU TUBE!!
I get so excited when you have new content. And this one blew me away. I took notes, screen grabs and directions. Thank you so much for your generosity as you share your golden vast knowledge.
Thank you, Joanie!
Best way to learn!
Seriously advanced level tips here! Thank you for going into a lot of detail on how to do each step. So many other videos don't even show which hotkeys they pressed for each step. I am extra appreciating the way you used Warp and masking to make the wrinkles more realistic (a step I haven't seen a lot of in other tuts). Hopefully using an image file instead of a repeating pattern will also work well within this overall method?
love this tutorial. the pen tool tips are great too. also, can hold alt and click original point to make the second transform point snap to original pen point rather than clicking and dragging. i have binged almost all your videos this week. ptc is the greatest internet find of the year.
Thanks so much, great video, by far the best photoshop youtube channel out there.
Thank you, Mina!
I wholeheartedly agree. Thank you Jesus
Thank you, Darren!
This is EXACTLY what I needed today - thank you!
This is great, I love how you took your time and really explained every step. I've been tweeking this texture for a while and it's just not quite right but with these techniques I feel more confident. I still think it will take a minute to get the techniques down but thanks a bunch.
This is actually one of your best tuts for me and so here I am again watching...

Gorgeous - educationally top and easy. Thanks a ton!
You have covered some very useful techniques! I usually see displacement maps used alone (with shadowing), but the addition of distortion is brilliant. Thanks for sharing!
Thank you, Bettie! I appreciate that!

Thanks for this tutorial. This gives me a better idea of how mockups are created and look so realistic. I hope to try this on my own, soon. First time I have seen vector mask used. I am sure I will need to watch the techniques many times to get the procedures. If you have any other videos that can help me with creating mockup templates, it would be much appreciated.
Thank you fantastic!
This is just incredibile!!! Thanks!
You're a wizard.
Great tutorial! a little fast but i learnt so much, thank you
*SUPERB TUTORIAL!!!!!!!!!* You are an excellent teacher. You were detailed and you went step-by-step, which is important (at least for me). You now have a new subscriber. As commenter Alexandre Freire, assert, "...a million times, thank you..."
Jesus, that was one of the best tutorials I have been seeing recently ! full of new information ! thank you soo much
You're welcome, Hakan!
I really love this tutorial. It helped me a lot.
Soooo awesome! I'm learning so much from your tutorials in a little while, it's just...I'm amazed. ;_; Thank you!
This is great if you are starting a fashion line. Thank you!
Wow, that was complex yet very satisfying! The end result is amazing!
I learnt a ton of stuff (as usual) but the *most important* was splitting the shirt into its component vector-masked parts! (I'd tried to do this in the past and only used displacement maps, and things weren't always realistic enough. Now I know how..). Thank you very much Jesús!
Thank you, R Garlin! I appreciate that!
Exactly, splitting the shirt was a key feature! I was surprised and couldn't understand why I didn't figure it out earlier! :)
Fantastic!
Thanks for the tutorial, just see from the title I already know that this video is what I need, and I gonna watch and rewatch it so I can learn from what you give on this tutorial, thank you
This held the answer I’ve been searching for!!! I need to create about 200 pattern changes for one product and wanted to create a system for it. This is the way!!! Thank you!

So hard to follow as a beginner like myself. I'm going to have to watch it over and over again. But, nonetheless, it's a complete map of what I needed at this moment. So, JR, thank you a lot for your patience in recording this video :) You're THE man!
This is the best tutorial! Your detail in teaching is great! thank you so much!!!
You're welcome, Suzanne!

thank you very much , God bless you...
great job! I need this, thank you!
excellent tutorial!!! I learn some trick, thank you!!!!
Incredible tutorial. Many thanks
You're welcome, Sean!
Thank you for the nice tutorial, I have the basic skills to make mockups, but your method of isolating the different parts made a lot of sense to me. That is how real garments are made, of different parts, so it made sense to do the same with your mockup. I am still working on my first one, but I thing it will be well worth the time, when I am finished. I will share a screenshot of before and after.
This skill has the potential to create significant value added to a project!
amazing!!!!
This is exactly what I needed to help make my workflow more efficient. Thank you so much x
You're welcome, Heather!
