I usually like to drop these self-produced music videos with little to no explanation, but I'll make an exception here, since it's been months without any new videos...
This was intended as the first of a series of music videos based on everyone's favorite glum chum Oogene, planned as the grand finale for last years epic "Oogene October" event, of which the aftershock is STILL causing ripples throughout the internetz..
This is the type of shit I do at work during downtime when there's no clients, or they've left and there's nothing but hours to kill before the clock strikes HOMETIME!
But alas, towards the end of October, my pc workstation crashed. Layouts and samples, loops and formats were lost, and my interest in reviving the project after finally buying a high end replacement pc. was about as dead as Paul Snider's working visa...
After a few months, with a fresh new pc, a bad ass top of the line Auturia midi board, after completing a shitload of "normal" (aka: serious/non-humor material for the clubs) projects this year, I decided to blow off a little steam, and pick up the pieces of the aborted Oogene dance-mix collection, and finish what was stillborn 9 months ago..
I went through the 2023 mixes that survived the motherboard crash, revamped them, then started to upload the material to streaming services, when I decided that I should probably record some fresh tracks before releasing the full experience..
And, that I should probably attempt to make some sort of video visualizers for a few of the tracks beforehand, but thought, "well how the fuck am I going to make decent music videos out of this Oogene stuff?!"
Yeah, I was able to produce masterpieces based on some of my other goofy pop-culture mixes last year (which all flew under the radar with zero acclaim or fanfare, but whatever) such as;

But Oogene?!?! First, the source video quality for the original bits look like trash. Secondly, the material is too obscure, no one cares about Oogene, and spending days producing music videos based on the mixes I crafted based on Oogene that will barely generate views isn't worth the effort to waste my time on.
But I gave it a shot, so here's the first of 10 fantastic Oogene video ear-worms.. Yeah, the chroma key effects here are suspect at best, but this is improvisational material, Holmes.. No time to waste.. It's THE MUSIC MAN THAT MATTERS, MAN.....

"Everything In The World Is Wrong" was the first Oogene track I produced last October, and also my favorite. The goal was to do only one Oogene song, using clips of Oogene throwing a tantrum.. Oogene meets Batdance or something. But then I latched onto the "Everything In The World Is Wrong" clips and went the indietronica/emotronica route instead.
As for the video itself, well.. Doing these, is like improvised electronic jazz. The song, and the video were all pretty much spontaneous, improvised. I don't really give a shit about technical perfection. I have a degrees in audio engineering & video production, but for the fun shit, it's all about improve and working fast, so I used Movavi Video Editor Plus just to get this done as fast as possible..
As long as it makes me laugh, that's honestly all that really matters, cuz..
