You did a great job.!!Eff those people who think they own the sidewalks in America .Stop eating outside if you want privacy.Clowns every where these days.
That hotel bell boy is so insecure and petty he was trying to petition support to justify his overly sensitive ego. What a clown. He should be charged with harassment and misuse of 911.
In just an hour, this video has received over two thousand views. That full-of-himself, bullying, shortsighted manager could have effortlessly gained so much valuable free publicity for the hotel if only he'd been intelligent, good-natured, and welcoming ... especially RIGHT NOW since August is racing season in Saratoga Springs. He blew it.
If that pavement isnt open to the public, how do people get to the hotel? How come so many people walk by without getting harassed by a man in a cheap suit?
I hope the hotel corporate sees this video and fires the guy for leaving hotel property and harassing law abiding citizens along with unprofessional conduct and comments to random people. I know as a citizen of the US if I went to a hotel I would expect to hear better from the staff when they are talking with a member of the community! the guy is an embarrassment to not only himself but to the company he is officially representing at the time of his interaction with the cameraman who is on PUBLIC property! what is it with these self entitled people that makes them think they can leave private property to go onto public property and start harassing people for no lawful reason! the hotel guy obviously thinks a lot of himself because he got a job at that hotel, and maybe in that one location he is a somebody, it might be the only time in his life when he is somebody.
This guy give a very bad look for the Adelphi Hotel. SAD and SHAMEFUL. Why can't people act professional and nice? They just have to be rude. The officer followed the oath professionally, friendly ,nice and polite.
Why do people have to walk around and point a camera at people? Oh, yes, because he hopes for a confrontation to have content for his YT channel. People eating on the sidewalk, shopping with their family don't appreciate a camera being pointed at them whether it's legal or not. I'm surprised the father of the little girl didn't do something to him.
Any 'haircut' in a cheap jacket who calls another grown man "Dude" like he was a teenager deserves zero respect no matter what he is saying. The fact that he is demanding a private citizen to 'just leave' a public sidewalk illustrates his ignorance and his arrogance. Ridiculous.
I absolutely love your verbiage....never seen an auditor call the po po out on the language used. I’ve heard the unfortunate line all to often. Good on ya !!
lmfao, they're screening calls....I was on hold immediately and could hear then say "I think it's more than one person calling" then they hung up 😂😂😂😂😂
No need to be defensive, especially when your representative of the establishment. It’s just not proper form. Thank you for showing restraint and class to that jerk.
Although the Adelphi Hotel is considered a 4-star establishment with good customer reviews a look at employee reviews shows a entirely different viewpoint. While not many the opinions of the employees was rather negative with upper management considered very poor. With this in mind the ignorance of, and obvious emotionally triggered, front-end employee may reflect the inability of the hotel general manager to employ informed individuals capable of displaying reasoned mature adult behavior. This individual is the first hotel employee people encounter. Not what I'd consider a good introduction to this apparently 4-star rated hotel. As many may know Saratoga Springs NY is a tourist destination from it's Revolutionary War history to it's annual horseracing event. Therefore one should expect cameras to be everywhere. JMHO
Great work!! Education....one dunce at a time. How can you manage a hotel and think you can stop a photographer.....even calling a armed man to handle things??
Because you backed him up he had to try assert himself from a distance, speaking loud enough so you could hear him, he wasn't finished with you lol. The psychology on display is really interesting.
i have to believe a hotel would dislike having their guests images captured (even tho they do it) to protect all the cheaters coming in and out otherwise, why? free advertising is always welcomed I've been led to believe. owning the public sidewalk - that's rich. and those jockey statues - shocked they don't have blackface with this dude in charge
"Came out here and told me this was his sidewalk, when we know damn well that it's not." It _is_ his. It's yours too. Also mine. Also that of those guys over there.
You would think that in this "day and age” the hospitality industry would train hospitality professional on how to treat people who are taking pictures/video in public areas and even on their own property. If they learn how one bad video of them treating someone badly negatively affect the bottom line or how treating them with respect increase it, I believe they’ll listen.
@9:17.....Since when are golf carts allowed on roadways? right..there NOT. No plate, probably no insurance. The police officer was cool, didn't escalate, was respectful, did a good job.
There are 4 (1) star reviews so far related to this video and dated today. @20 min in, is that woman the management? She looked like she was questioning him about the situation. Think he might be getting dressed down. LOL
It's amazing that a hotel with such great reviews would have a manager with such a poor attitude toward someone on a public sidewalk taking pictures. He certainly detracts from their great ratings. If I were the owner, he would be getting a talk from me.
Don't be fooled, he only seeks a confrontation to have content for his YT channel. He isn't providing a service to anyone but himself at innocent peoples expense. And, maybe he didn't get enough attention growing up so now he forces people to show him attention even if it's negative. To people like him any attention is good attention. He needs help.
@@mr.niceguy1498 I know it is, and you'd think a competent manager (in the HOSPITALITY field!) would say something like "Hi! I see you're interested in our hotel! May I tell you a bit about its history?"

a pet peeve of mine [being a motorcyclist and collector] is when people call scooters "mopeds". A scooter is a scooter. Usually, a smaller wheel step through design motorized two-wheeler. [my words, not from a dictionary] A moped is a very different thing but still often people use that word interchangeably with scooter. The "ped" part of the word stands for something. [mo does too]. Get it yet? Ped stands for pedals. A moped by definition has PEDALS. Like a bicycle has. The pedals have to be functioning and can be used to "pedal" the two-wheeler along without the motor running even. Also, mopeds by law [I'm pretty sure in ALL states not just most] must have motors of 50cc or less than 50cc. [most are 49cc]. [many states do not require drivers licenses to operate mopeds, some only require a car drivers license and not a motorcycle endorsement] And of course the "mo" stands for motor. Actually precisely "motorized". As in moped = "motorized pedal cycle" in most states' description. Anyway, a large cc scooter such as that very nice Silverwing is absolutely NOT a Moped! It is however a scooter. They are different. [I own the original Honda Silverwing; A 1982 500cc Honda Silverwing Interstate. One of the least appreciated, and under-rated bikes Honda has made through the years] [Horizontal V twin -like a Moto Guzzi liquid cooled shaft drive sport touring] Good name for a motorcycle so Honda brought back the name these years later and are using it for the fine high-quality scooter mentioned in this video. He's a jerk who sticks a camera in people's faces hoping to start a confrontation so he can talk about his rights to record people.
