I had an '88 Park Avenue years ago. 200k miles is barely break-in for these. Best car I've ever owned.

I would love an ultra as welll.....but I am hunting for the holy grail... olds touring. I actually had a lead on a one owner garage kept 60k mile GA car.....but it ended up being traded in and scooped up by a dealer. The owner thought I was joking when I gave him my card and told them to call me at anytime to buy... I swear people are stupid as hell sometime. I know he got nothing on trade in value. Nothing. Great video. Thanks again!

I hope you changed your mind and grabbed this nice Buick. It was just begging to be rescued. I have had several of these and the similar Olds 98s. These make the best used cars!

Do you know if it's is still available? I used to own that car. Her name is Millie (after the original owner, Mildred). I sold it to a nice guy from Garden City last year who told me he bought the car for his elderly mom. I bought it about 5 years ago from the next door neighbor of the original owner in Wantagh. It was really well cared for car. Transmission was rebuilt at 177k by Banner in Bellmore not to mention a plethora of other things I can't recall at the moment. My brother rebuilt the starter and had the drum brakes redone the summer before I sold it. Bumper wasn't damaged when I owned the car and the original blue canvas top was still intact. If I knew how clean it looked underneath, I probably would've removed it myself long ago. Replaced the radiator and water pump when I bought it and had a bypass pulley installed cause it was cheaper than replacing the compressor (but I left the lines intact) Heat was also working perfectly when I sold it, not sure how the lines got cut. I loved that car! Please let me know if it's still around, I'd give her another chance

I really love Buick's you can always depend on those 3800 motors their awesome I own a 2002 Buick Regal LS I've owned it for almost a year I bought it with 79,000km I also have the 3800 Series II motor naturally aspirated very common issue with the 3800 Series engines is that the lower intake gasket goes bad I've had that issue with my regal mine was melted I also had a recall due to the valve cover as well I don't have the 3800 Series II cover due to the recall, these engines are bulletproof keep up with the oil changes & it will last. Also another common issue is that the transmission in these GM front wheel drive cars are not the greatest I've never had any transmission issues with my Regal etc

With all that space in the engine bay u could tell that a V8 belongs under the hood
