This is my BLIND (first time playthrough) Let's Play of Kingdom Hearts 3 for the PlayStation 4. I'm playing KH3 on a PS4 Pro. This walkthrough is on Proud mode, the current hardest difficulty without using Zero EXP.

Still rolling my eyes with the Kairi situation.
Ohhhh, I just noticed that the red aura around the bosses is like an indicator that shows you whose "aggro" you currently have, like only one boss will focus on you and that red glow shows you who it is at the moment :D

@@Soraalam1 Neither did I until you mentioned the "pink glow" on Xemnas in the video ^^ I then went into the game and looked if this really is the case and yes it is. But I think this is only visible in the fight against the three Xehanorts, didnt see it in the other fights that happened before :D
Even Xemnas has feelings unbound by Xehanort--I mean I shouldn't be too surprised given Roxas and Sora, but I don't often distinguish Xemnas and Xehanort enough, aside from their abilities.
Ditto for Ansem--Another close incarnation of Xehanort and yet he too had some encouraging words left for Riku and Sora.
But Young Xehanort? Consistent as Master X and regrets nothing lol.
Even though fights with more than one boss like this are a mess for my tastes, this one does at least do a good job setting them apart!
Well the thing is Xeman and Ansem are kind of separate entities almost, while young xehanort is literally the same xehanort but from the past at a younger age. It makes sense that xemas and ansem are different feelings but young xehanort stays true to xehanorts ideals.
I think the way both Ansem and Xemnas felt was also because they were still partially Terra, and I have a theory that a version of Xemnas rests within Terra's heart. But I dunno if that will be explored. I mean it is implied since the strongest Nobodies grew new hearts that when they are recompleted their nobody heart rests withing their original self, so no doubt if various previous Organization members will have their hearts examined.

So excited for what I imagine will be the last episode!? I personally loved the Terra thing, wonder why his keyblade devolved though. Also wish we got more of a Roxas and Ven interaction but hey ho.
I also wish Riku and Terra could interact more, especially now that the former's a Master lol
HUH. You're right, Terra's Keyblade has returned to its base form. Interesting...

The Keyblade never evolved... its two separate keyblades as you can swap between them.
Cannonically, upgrading keyblades is possible, but they dont change appearance when you do.
Ah so *there's* Scala! There's a certain kind of charm to having the final boss world be a nicely lit and pristine environment as opposed to the more typical darkness!
As for Kairi, I felt conflicted at that first instance. On one hand, that hurt!! But on the other, I still liked Xehanort as a villain. Regardless, it didn't take long for optimism to return, with everyone else showing up and Xion being the one to assure Sora. (Latter's especially ironic given how much we used to worry about Xion's return lol!)
Wolf Ying yeah they shouldn’t have done her like that at all because 2 seconds later Xion can feel that she’ll be okay and so Kairi only got to fight for like 5 minutes until they made her the “motivation” they really need to let her do more in the next game

Yes, saving Sora from dying and then as a result saving every light from dying surely is doing her dirty.
YoTyr0ne don’t get me wrong I’m glad they let her do that but no it’s more like, letting her finally do something, giving her a keyblade and then only to make Sora have to save her again. Imo Donald and Goofy should’ve never came with you to the end, Kairi and Riku should’ve and everyone else he wronged should also have had their turn with him so to speak. Roxas, Xion, Ven, Terra, they all have much more beef with him than Sora ever did and yet it ultimately fell to him and no one else cared, I guess they weren’t all recovered or whatever but he stole the spotlight and Kairi was his “motivation” as Xehanort said. She doesn’t deserve to get used only to give Sora a reason, as a princess of heart you’d think she really should be able to protect herself but Nomura won’t let her have more than 1 moment. Here’s hoping the next game will do her justice and give more screen time. Even Riku got played in this game, even as a master, with Mickey, they still made them have to get saved by Sora, they didn’t let anyone else do anything this time tbh and I like Sora as much as the next guy but like damn...

I just love how committed young xehanort was to making sora suffer. He stays true to current xeahnorts ideals but because hes a kid still he does make things personal with sora, especially after being thwarted the first time. When he begins to return to his time and he forshadows sora's death it gave me chills how much he wants Sora to suffer eternally for stopping his plans i love it!!!
In this, I felt obligated to beat them in reverse order in release chronology. So young Xehanort for DDD, the Xemnas for KH2, then Ansem for KH1.
that is…if you survive that long (then the best music in kingdom hearts starts blaring) my favorite kh3 fight for sure

I have a strange love & hate relationship with this battle.
I love the fighting these 3 at the same time (specially with that music), but it's frustrating that while you're trying to deal a combo to one of them, the other one backstabs you.
A tip if you relay the game, if you stay in the Olympus world when needing to get your friends back and since it's endless spawning heartless, level up to about level 50 through fighting all those heartless. Also, if you need more Abilities to use the Technicians Ring + and probably 3 of them until you have the Necessary AP points on your own to utilize the abilities you want. And the battle should be somewhat less painless

Ever since when Kairi got struck down the hate she's been getting from the community is insane.

No people dont hate her for getting killed. People hate her for just standing and staring at Terranort about to kill her and for letting herself get kidnapped by Xemnas
Honestly, I wouldn't have minded nearly as much if they had otherwise made her more competent. I mean, I'd actually guessed she would probably die. This fight was the first real combat experience she and Lea had with their keyblades, and as the BBS trio learned, training can only prepare you so much. Additionally, this was the first time Kairi had done ANY sort of real fighting beyond a few shadows. She honestly was their weakest link simply because of her inexperience. However, it would still have been nice if she didn't seem so docile and had actually had a scene where she fought, and had struggled more against Xemnas when he caught her.
I'm still mourning Sora's death.😔

Slashing Kairi and essentially killing her was not okay. I made sure Xehanort got hurt so much in this fight. I made sure I dragged it out as much as possible and destroy that man. His atonement did not mean anything to me at the end and I will never forgive him although I have to admit, he was a great villain.

Magic is busted in this game, needs to be nerfed, specifically Firaga
Likeicare usewe magic is so busted, they tried to balance it by making higher tiers cost more but it doesn’t stop anything lol

So, I've done this fight at least 5 times. And literally every time, I've defeated them YX, Ansem, Xemnas. I did that on purpose my first time because I defeated them in order of which I like least to most. Because Xemnas is and always will be my husbando, and YX is just...a whiny teen.
But ever since, I've never purposely focused on killing them in any specific order. They just always fall that way. YX is always the most aggressive and gets in my way the most.
Those three Xehanorts clones endings were unsatisfying
How come terra's keyblade is the Earthshaker Keyblade and not the Ends of the Earth Keyblade.

This game was a bit too happy happy even at the end world(Keyblade Graveyard, not counting Scala because KG had more events) Kairi gets slashed, Sora cries and suddenly Goofy and Donald picks him up all happy like someone didn’t just get sushi’d lmaoo but hopefully in the next Kingdom Hearts title in the series coming, Goofy and Donald will finally stay in their own world and Sora seeks out some other partners like the Square Enix cast or so like shown in the Secret Movie and all, I have hope for a more mature KH and more serious events to take place like the Final World and everyone on the verge of death for instance, Kingdom Hearts needs a sadder theme rounding around death like FFXV for example how players were truly deeply attached to Noctis’ character and he then passes away of dying for good leaving a sad ending, I have faith for my fav game in the future
yea, kairi is babygurl i was surprised sora was still able to be happy like that, then again it his character to try and stay happy, but i agree it shud be sadder especially when someone gets sushi'd lmao
