A common theory is that she dies between the events of Young Sheldon and Big Bang Theory, which is why she wasn't even mentioned in Big Bang Theory. It could also explain Sheldon's aversion to romantic relationships until season 5.

Eh, us men do similar if not the same math about tools. If the tool costs the same or less than hiring someone to do the job, or it saves time that would earn that amount of money if spent working, the tool is free, and every use after is earning you money. A penny saved is a penny earned, after all.

I agree with most here and considering the effort that went into making Paige's character and her interaction with Sheldon, it's a pity that she was never mentionned in TBBT. They are so cute together. It's a bit sad that he wouldn't pursue things more because if his fear of touching. Had things turned out different, he might have seen human interactions in another light.

because young sheldon is a prequil to the big bang theory and the writers dropped the ball big time - paige and tam never existed in sheldon's life - sheldon's life is so boring they had to add characters that never existed to try to make it work - i stopped watching young sheldon after season 1 - i never understood why so many fans are obsessed with sheoldon - the big bang theory main premise is penny and leonard - sheldon is just there for the laughs

sheldon never had any friends when he was young - how the writers forget that and give him a best friend and girl who is his friend in young sheldon- and sheldon's father was an abusive alcoholic and in young sheldon he is this really nice guy lol- the writers dropped the ball on this show big time -
