ELDEN RING VIDEOS COMING SOON! - Hry
I thought I might add that Framp pays more than consuming gives⊠I really canât stand so many CZcamsrs, but your friendly fun approach is great. I know that it may seem like a long hard road, but I feel confident that if you stay the course they will come.
Frampt pays you more... for boss Souls?! Oh my gosh really? Don't mind admitting I never knew that hahaha
Appreciate your videos, and how sure and calm you sound while playing through.
Motivated By your videos, I made it up to Anor Londo and finished ornstein and Smogh all alone, suprisingly. I wanted to practice to summon Solaire, but it worked better than expected, I finally i did it. YES!!!
I am about to enter 2023 now and playing ds and watching your walkthrough. Happy and healthy new year!!
Happy new year!! Amazing haha
Playing this for the first time, so I decided to use your guide just incase I miss things. I know you try to stay professional with your commentary, but when you go off script and crack jokes, you're hilarious lmao
Ahahaha thank you! đ
Rachel, your videos are awesome! I just beat Ornstein and Smough on my 3rd try without summoning, all thanks to you (well, and to my Black Knight Halberd+4 :P).
Wowsa! Well done đ„° gotta love the old BKH yaaas
Your series is the best! Iâm having an absolute blast. And I have the other FromSoft games as well, just waiting for me. And I cannot wait for you guidance with them as well! Thank you Rach! How can we support the great work you do?
Very kind thank you! Enjoying the videos and watching the ads supports me!
But I do have channel memberships if you wanted your comments and emotes to look extra fancy, and super comments for one-off tips if you were so inclined.
Like it took me my whole day off... but!! I got it down, take you very much.
Aw fantastic! Heck, doing this crazy section in just a day is actually great. Letâs goooo
thanks for your walkthroughđđ
Finally, I was able to defeat Ornstein and Smough Rach! I learned the hard way that a shield is pretty much useless in this fight so I held my black knight halberd with 2 hands and went super aggressive on both of them. I also learned that the position of Ornstein is super important to determine your luck in battle as he can be quite annoying. Thanks a lot for this guide! Looking forward to the next episodes!
Letâs gooooooo!!
thank you.
I'm so happy I didn't get spoiled on the intro to anor londo. I was so freaked out. Like, where is a BONFIRE!!!!??! found it.....after a Taurus fight I almost lost. I was so worried about being invaded. Whew. Made it to the beginning bonfire. Now I can relax.
Pardon, Gargoyle not Taurus demon. Think for my first NG+ I will drop the bucks for the Future Press guide.
15:34 Short Bow also has S scale dexterity scaling as far as I know.
I summoned to fighters just to see if it would work, i didn't know they'd go rogue... i barely left the bobfire room and they were clearing out the castle for me
Oh and those weird roof things on the castle you run up that you didn't know the name of is called a Flying Buttress. It keeps the building from tilting or collapsing under itself. Weight distribution.
I guess all the time spent in Elden Ring paid off. I 1 shot Ornstein and Smough. I went in with 4 charges on my Estus flask thinking I'd just give it a shot while i was there. Ended with 1 charge.
Black Knight Halberd +5 carried hard.
I didn't use Solaire. Hopefully that doesn't impact anything story wise for him.
Very nice!! And nah you can progress solaireâs story without summoning him no problem
Greetings, thanks for the video
You are always welcome!
Hello ma'am, ii love your commentary and gameplay. I have started playing Dark Souls from around start of April and you have been a wonderful guide. I still have to defeat Ornstein and Smough but I am almost there. Thank you for your help
Youâre welcome! Good luck with O+S!!
Youâre welcome! Good luck with O+S!!
@@HowToSouls I DID IT YAY, also did sif and stray demon and the hydra in darkroot basin
I made it to a bonfire past some spear hucking knights. I got invaded before I sat down. I accidentally hit solare. I died. I'm going to scream. I have 3 options I think. Kill solare. Not an option. 2 options then. Power through and kill O&S with a longer run up then I should maybe be able to bonfire warp (no idea how it works) or (and this is what I will probably do) go all the way back to the first bell and pay for absolution. Maybe.....just maybe I can make it no bonfire and homeward bone back to anor londo.
Personally Iâd push for O+S to get the warping but damn thatâs so rough :(((
â@HowToSouls got them. Smough first. Tanked it with havel gear. Now I can finally continue your walkthrough. Warping just changed the entire game. So much to be done! Thanks again for the guides
I know it's too late to help the situation now, but for anyone in @angbald's position in the future -- I recently found out that even without beating O&S, it is possible to return back to Sen's Fortress after opening the gate shortcut in the room with the fog wall leading to the two bosses. I didn't know that, either! I only learned this myself recently, because I wanted to go somewhere to buy alternative gear but didn't think I could without beating the bosses ... but decided to check online just to be sure. Apparently, the same flying demons are round trip for you if you don't have the lordvessel yet, and will indeed fly you back to the same spot that you left from in Sen's Fortress. You just have to return to the point at which you were initially dropped off in Anor Londo.
This is a bit time-consuming and you're not going to "get out" of having to fight them ... you need that lordvessel eventually .... but if you just cannot beat Smough and Orn without getting resources/items from elsewhere in the game first, or you accidentally aggro Solaire like @angbald did, temporary escape from Anor Londo is possible. You can definitely return to purchase an absolution or whatever else you need. I think that going back through Sen's would likely be irritating, but at least it should be much easier than getting through the first time. ^_^
I'd also imagine that this might be something you can do if you're low on humanity and need to farm up some more so you can summon Solaire ... so you don't have to be stuck if you run out of humanity, either. The rats by the Depth bonfires are my preferred spot for that, which is even faster if you have any soft humanity active. There's excellent Large and Green Titanite drops from the slime things in the same area, too, so you could even work on a weapon at the same time. I'm willing to bet that a few hours by the Depths bonfire mowing through slimes and rats would see you in a position where you're loaded up with souls, humanity, *AND* shards, and would have a lot of options for building up strength in various ways to try to get to where you need to be to return to Anor Londo and take 'em out. đ
Just an FYI you can stand outside the door where the Titanite Demon is and shoot his leg with arrows đ€©
Another way you can pass the archers is that you can go and face the right archer and when he change his weapon run your buns back height fall off and you can say that "hurray"!!
Oh man, I was following this walkthrough and it was all fine most of the time, but Ornstein and Smough are the biggest obstacles I've faced in this game, I can't defeat them đą
God tier
Literally, she doesn't give herself enough credit.
@@uschilou facts
the boss fight (bosses if i would say), looks very stressful, damn
It is yeah, takes a long time to learn. I'll defo do a more in-depth guide on them soon!
Ok I've discovered that you can walk close to one sentinel, close enough to target but not too close, and just pull one at a time without using arrows! Keep to their side of the wall.
Brilliantly resourceful!
â€
didn't know you could just block Ornstein's attacks in phase 2 :/
You can block most attacks from anything if your shield has the block % and stability and you have enough stamina to absorb the hit! Youâll find Ornsteins lightning attacks will pierce through your shield quite a bit unless itâs a high lightning block shield.
Heâs a toughie!
@@HowToSouls what does stability do?
@@woolsword8200 youâll see it as a stat on shields. The higher it is, the more force of an attack the shield can absorb, the less stamina the block uses. If that makes sense?
@@HowToSouls yes that makes sense thanks
