Better help therapist literally told me he was giving up therapy and I should probably see a real therapist. Keyword was "Real" that he used, made me think hard on this site.
There are different levels to therapists and counselors. Some people need a bit more qualified support. Some people just need a neutral sounding board that can share a few strategies.

@@ChrisKoraltan Therapists have one of the highest rates of mental issues, trauma, etc related to hearing the worst of people's lives on a constant basis.
They're actually required to see a therapist themselves regularly as part of their job, and so it's perfectly reasonable that a number of folks that go into that field will burnout from time to time.
