Not only did Milo do an amazing job of this performance but you can feel the confusion inside of Joseph whether to believe that Mary is carrying the son of God or not. The composers did a beautiful job of writing this song!!!

Milo did an incredible job with this song and the entire scene. I love when the side of him that realizes he loves her drops the stone when he sees it in his hand. I had hoped to see the film twice more tonight but the weather didn't allow that to happen, so to find one of my favourite scenes (only behind the nativity scene) now available on youtube is wonderful!

The Disney movie Wish bombed at the box office. Critics are just mean! I love Valentino the talking baby goat! But you should see it! Milo may not be in it, but you are going to love Valentino! He's so cute!

Ya I have heard Wish didn't do well in the box office. I loved watching disney animated classics growing up, but haven't seen any of the new ones in years. I think the only one was Frozen and was only because it was played for students I was working with at the time.

Everyone else my age is married and as Fiona said "making babies" but being a 21 year old girl who has wanted to be pregnant since I was a child has been something I always wanted to do. But to spend eternity forever with Spencer, Milo, my previous boyfriend Max, or even Darren Criss if he were to divorce his wife would make me so happy that my heart could just... burst!
Picture this: I'm lying in bed, in my second trimester of pregnancy, huge belly stretching out so I couldn't see my toes, eating what I want on the Yes Foods list that my doctor gave me, when I feel something that felt like gas. I probably think I ate too much Taco Bell (This is just a scenario, I would never eat Taco Bell, my twin sister Rachel almost died at that place when she choked on a chip) but then I realize that I just felt the baby kick... or maybe I felt him (Kurt or Blaine) or her (Sophia or Quinn) move but whatever it was, he or she was moving! I call my husband, Milo or Spencer, or Darren, or Chris (if he comes out as bisexual) or whoever over, and place his hand on my stomach and he feels him or her moving inside me. He would say, "That's a miracle!" Then to my stomach he would say, "Hello. Hiiii, baby. Can you hear me? Hello? Sweetie pie, I'm here. Daddy's here." He would kiss my heavily pregnant baby bump, sing the baby a lullaby, and our dog (not one for Darren, he's allergic only hypoallergenic dogs would be okay for him, my precious boy) would curl up beside me and sleep.
My perfect little family: me, my husband (whoever it would be), my dog (Spencer Jr. or Artie Abrams, we would name him after the hilarious kid in the wheelchair from Glee), and my little mister or miss. My beautiful family. And I wish to have a family like that.

It was interesting, poignant, entertaining, creative, and God-honoring. There is literally nothing wrong with this movie.

I love this shows how human Joseph was, cuz as Christians we’re not perfect, we’re selfish, angry, doubtful, petty, judgmental as we are kind, loving, honest, caring, selfless, & faithful, and this performance is a prime example of Joseph’s humanity.
He was a good man, a son of God, but at times he felt doubt & despair from Mary’s pregnancy to the journey of Bethlehem itself, but through it all he kept his faith in the Lord.✝️🌟🙏😌

I really like this scene. It places the perfect amount of emphasis on joseph and his inner struggle. Obviously the movie should be primarily about mary, but it's nice to see joseph get a little bit of attention.
no it's good that this movie is finally bringing Josephs part into this. Everyone studies about Mary and her faith but what about Joseph and what he had to overcome to come to terms with being the father of Jesus

As "liberal" as this movie is with depicting the Nativity, this is a surprisingly interesting and tasteful interpretation of not only Joseph's struggles, but the struggles of most believers in the Bible.
I love the mob of people and the Roman guards, and how Joseph was both playing into their bloodlust and pleading them to spare Mary. It speaks to the mindset of the people in Jerusalem at the time. Years of brutal Roman occupation on one side and the bloody religious zealotry of the religious leaders on the other had made the people crave that type of violence. Jesus and the other people in the New Testament were there to show that there's another way, one that empowers the righteous but still keeps one's soul pure. No matter how wicked the world gets, nothing is worth crossing that line. Because that's exactly what Satan would want.
Not a religious man by any means, though I do love studying Abrahamic religions, but this scene really makes me think of that.

Saint Joseph is figure that always is fascinating me. I'm not religious but I always admire the faith, and for me he represents that. Not blind trust, not questioning, no fanaticism, that can justifies his revenge for honor. He is a true good dude who is trying to make right choice, he is so human respect Mary, who is so perfect in her faith and without sin, but for me is more easly feels like him.
I absolutely love this scene in the movie. It’s one of my favorite songs in the entire movie. It was an amazing portrayal of what Joseph’s inner conflict must have felt like and this scene and the scene where Mary is singing when traveling to Hebron is such an amazing portrayal of the honor/shame culture. I love how Joseph defends her against those wanting to stone her. I love this scene so much!!!!

It’s not only the song I only listen to but Milo is my favorite singer/actor but you can tell that Joseph is very confused my favorite line is “Wait! Don’t you throw you’re stones no don’t you judge her I look into her eyes and think I love her it’s the side of my control I can’t let her go now!” 2:09- 2:16 and it’s because he’s showing how much Joseph loves Mary.
Milo did an amazing job in this song. He has a great voice, I like the fight choreography that they added in, and love the way this represents the internal struggle that Joseph is going through of whether or not that he believes Mary is carrying the Son of God. I cannot wait to see this film in full! Great Job Milo!

Brilliant film. Thoroughly enjoyed it in spite of the usual errors most of which I understand were intended. Plus the addition of a son of Herod . The characters of Joseph and Mary were well balanced.

I think everything they do in the movie is amazing like having a good and bad Joseph.
I did not think Milo could not get even cuter than a Zombie, this movie proves me wrong, nit only cute, but the internal struggle he was able to convey while staying in tune, gave me a new appreciation for Joseph's struggle. Mary had a undeniable physical presence of an angel and the physical aspects of the pregnancy to help her realize the truth, even though I am certain she had doubts about her own worthiness, Joseph had to trust Mary and a dream, a very big exercise of faith. So glad I watched this version of the Nativity, the character developement was assisted by the music, not just by knowing the characters from a bible story than cannot give off the depth of anquish and very human qualities these two people had to have, becoming the parents of a Redeemer of Mankind...talk about pressure.
