As a driving instructor myself I just wanna say that everybody needs to keep in mind that you are not trying to impress your driving examiner. You don’t need to earn points at all. You start the test with a pass and can only fail from then on by making mistakes :). There are no official good driver marks in the test, only minor and serious faults.
@@Dreamskater100 it's a deduction point system...therefore you start with a passing score and if you are able to keep the score as intact as possible you will pass at the end of your test! That's what he means

You start with a full health bar of 15 hp Each hit you receive is worth 1 hp A critical hit is worth 15 hp Driving faults/minors = a hit Serious/dangerous faults/majors = critical hits Test fail = K.O/0 hp left Test pass = no K.O/at least 1 hp left On the test the examiner, the roads, other cars and the entire world are your opponent, you and your car have to fight and survive for 40 minutes to win the fight
Summary: 1. Know the show me tell me questions 2. Have good clutch control, keep it smooth 3. Check mirrors and blind spots well, know the 6 point check 4. Be aware of pedestrians and what they may do e.g body language says they'll walk into the road 5. Be able to think fast and plan ahead on a roundabout 6. Chewing gum is your best mate haha

So I'm just looking at these vids to get a head start on what to expect and how to prepere. Thanks for the tips mate. My instructor has never advised me to do the 6 point mirror check. Only the blind spot. He looks at me strange when I started doing it after seeing this on multiple CZcams driving videos. And then told me not to copy people online. Lol. Thanks for the video 👍🏼

He says you're not concentrating on the road and what's coming up behind you if you're busy checking 6 points of the car; which is exactly what I thought. Its unnecessary. You could do a quick look around, but the blind spot is where our attention should be, and the road.
and heres what i look out for in video production. a properly managed audio workflow that doesnt sound like its been recorded in a wardrobe complete with blown out plosives.

What about drifting round corners and overtaking cars at 100mph? Takes a good driver to do those
