Would love to see the new Battersea Power Station apartments!
Yeah you're right one needs to diversify to have different streams of income
I've heard about Forex and bitcoin, watched multiple videos but always get confused.
I was an investor of stocks but sold all off and invested on crypto I've been doing well.
you need a professional broker who will guide and manage your account properly.
I've been trading Forex for 2 months now and I've lost a lot trading my self.
The doors leading to the apartment are glass? Do they have blinds or something, people could just look in!
That was my first thought too! Standing in front of the front door to take a look into the whole living room, seriously? And the front door doesn't seem safe compared to a £4 million apartment...
@@cickanyfiu2827 the building itself should be very secure. People can't just walk in off the street and break into your apartment.
@@baz1184 yes but if I owned the apartment I wouldn’t want the people who live in the same building to be able to see into my living room!
Yes that was my only problem , no privacy, though I guess it could be covered. Beautiful overall
All that glass must get hot in the summer!
The problem with place is, without real walls separating the rooms sound will travel. This could be problematic. Nice looking though.
I could live with that
@@Terenia531 The thing is when you’re paying 3 mil, I’d say you shouldn’t have to deal with that
I agree thats weird!
@@user-kp4ii5eu2w I was going to say the same, the whole interior and aesthetics is also so fugly that buyers WOULD HAVE TO throw away everything, for example the kitchen island and the matching walltype cabinet just ewww..and even the fact that they're just a little below the ceiling and there is an awkward gap that just looks soo distasteful. LiTERALLY haven't seen a more uglier 3mill apartment in my life
There is glass above the cabinets.
Absolutely hate it. The original tiles make it look like a station toilet. It’s not at all homely. It’s like a warehouse/WC. You would be utterly bonkers to pay nearly £4m for it 😳😳
Fr...I can appreciate the attempt to make it look unique but it just didn’t turn out well
Think you nailed it there !!
Good job its not a home then isn't it
I don't think it was rhe tuies that made it look less homey. It was the clashing modern design. They really missed many opportunitues to make it a cool place to live. Including, making it a 2 story and using the pole as it was intended.
The developer has done their best to convert this building into a modern apartment, but it just doesn't work for me.
ironically the "home" just feels very cold and soulless for a building with such rich history. Perfect for a multimillionaire with absolutely no taste however I cant see any sane person paying almost 4 million for a property that doesn't fit in any category.
I find it too big with a lot of wasted space. I am also not a fan of subway tiles but I realise they need to be kept in the building. They tend to remind me of public toilets when I was a child.
Same
It's awful imo. Would hate to live here no matter the price and for £4mil nah
Those storage containers are horrible imo, too big and ugly and it doesn't feel homely feels like someone put a couple beds and sofas in a fire station.. and it's leasehold
Nah fam
I just love the spacious feel, would really enjoy living there.
I would push the Council for a re think on those cold unhygienic tiles. 💩
However I like the spaciousness of it.
A disused mill or warehouse would work better for a domestic conversion imo.
From the hundreds of videos, I think I know what Summer likes:
1) open plan kitchen
2) dark kitchen cabinets
3) big kitchen island
4) huge fridge
5) big windows, lots of natural light
For Matt,
1) LED lights, especially under kitchen island and around mirrors.
Love your videos ! Great work, guys!
This place goes up in value because it’s the place of birth of my Dad. My Dad was born there when my Grandad was serving and living there in 1960. RIP Grandad mate we will never forget you
It looks amazing but I can’t help thinking with all the glass partition is that if one person has their light on at night it’ll affect everyone in the other bedrooms.
Had the same thought about that ... not functional at all, estethic pleasing yes, but they did not think that one through.
My great grandfather used to be a fireman at this station
That's amazing
I just love when you two get excited, and mess about so cute, makes me smile - thanks
This is without a doubt my favorite piece of property I’ve seen thus far. I loved everything about this place.
agreeed!
Same!
I love it too but for more reasons then most Joe Bloggs. My Grandad was based here and lived there with Nan uncle auntie. Then to make this place truly like no other place my Dad was born here in 1960
Naa, cold. Those tiled walls just make me think of domestos. The entrance is too open. No privacy.
yeah wtf people can see inside your yard
The combination of both of you dancing/sliding down the both made my day. Yous are so funny with the jokes you make looks like you have so much fun touring these amazing properties 😀
Seriously loving this apartment. The architect has done a really good job.
I lived in this property as a property guardian before planning permission came through. I used to slide down the pole to get to work in the morning. I have also seen that garage host a huge rave, not the kind of party that would probably happen in there now. Good looking work, it's amazing. Do have concerns about noise travelling though.
Did someone mentioned what it would be like to rent it on Airbnb? I will pay 5k on the spot for a week of memories with all crew back in The Fire House!
@@joannadynak7913 not sure you can rent it like air bnb I think you have to be Batman to live in there would be good to go back in though! When I’m rich and famous I’ll
Buy one but probably one upstairs
Love how unique this property is and it’s funny to see you guys having fun around this apartment 😂
Absolutely love these sort of repurposed properties with stories in them!
I think enthusiasm for those original tiles might be short-lived.
I agree. Probably have to keep them due to the Heritage of the building.
Why?
@@damianxavier7343 Listed property, which means you cannot change certain aspects without permission.
To keep all our nice old buildings so they don't get knocked down like in America.
@@marc0523 lol, I think he was asking why it would be short lived not why have to keep them.
Oh wow... I completely love this!! I am officially jealous of the lucky person who get to purchase this.
This house is amazing, two houses/apartment in one. Great video love your content, plz post more. Have a great week.
Would you guys ever consider doing a day in the life or even week in the life vlog? It’d be interesting to see how you guys travel around and film/edit these videos.
Really love this conversion, so quirky. Thanks for showing us this guys.
Love the mirror with the integrated digital clock
I really love the uniqueness, the sense of space and the amount of storage.
I’ve been watching your videos for weeks and months and I thoroughly enjoy them… However, this place is exceptional!
This is the best apartment you both have featured on your channel so far. That's in my opinion, of course I've rewinded 6 times already great entertainment space. I have it where that big painting is that's where the tv goes? Great content guys 👍
I loved the impromptu nature of the videos at the end. Production quality is increasing in every video. Well done Matt and Summer
Fab fire house build thanks for showing this worth ever penny
I watch these videos just to relax. 👏 Your english is SO relaxing. Just like asmr 👌
Matt & Summer~ I so enjoy your videos! As someone who’s done all kinds of real estate development in the Boston area, what I really love is your relationship and enthusiasm! So much so I subscribed. Thank you for sharing! 👏🏻🏰
I loved this property I love all the original features it’s so unique. Xx
Just walked past the fire station and CZcams recommended your video! Spooky...
This is a great and unique property!
Thanks for sharing this Matt and summer 🙂
Love this place. So much space and so much light 👌
Wow!!! Absolutely love it. The best apartment you have shown us for me 👏👏👏👏
love the interior design on this and the restoration/re-purposing of an old property...but those bedrooms without walls...reminds me of tiny London flatshares where half the living room is converted into a bedroom. What if someone wants to listen to music while someone is sleeping??
Back with a banger guys wow wow I mean it just show’s you can convert anything into living accommodations. Matt hidden talents who knew 😂 It’s great to see you back I’ve missed your tours 🙌🙌
Matt and Summer. The best London property ever featured! And did you both have fun! 😆😆. A lot of money but unique and a Grade 2 Landmark building! Thank you both!
The most interesting space you've shown. Looks amazing, very open.
Different people in the comments have very different priorities to me. They clearly just want a cozy family home, so they complain everything isn't homely enough. I just like great spaces.
Wow love this....Great presentation 👏
Interior designer deserves a medal.
Love how the kitchen island looks as though it is floating. Oh and two apartments in one video... Very nice 👏🏾
Love this property, good feel to the place, the only thing from what I can tell you can see right into the apartment from the front door, not much privacy, but as I say great apartment, keep the content coming
More of this type of property please!!!
Omg this is amazing!!!
Amazing. So much originality. Love the pole. Can it actually be used? Both kitchens are good sized and well designed.
Bloody fantastic.... The wall lighted Cabernet in the main lounge with hidden door into Master Bedroom wonderful ....
Cabinet!

@@DonnaJ1312 so many times I have to read back what I’ve written ... something it doesn’t make any comprehension what’s so ever ... but cheers 👍 I thought the apartment was ever so nice !
@@conner.9262 My hubby say's i type too fast for the tablet's keyboard!
Very innovative and industrial-like. Beautifully done. 💯👍
Your channel is banging! Keep up the great work, guys !
Well executed conversion. Just does not look like a home. Last thing this place needs is a listing on Airnib. Lease may prohibit short term letting as many do to protect owner occupiers from the detriment of Airnib clients.
I like these quirky properties 👌
This is a really lovely place, very nice. 👍
This property certainly fired me up!
You guys are the best💕
perfect for one or two people! Tiny Home🥰
really like this place!
Loved both of those...
A very interesting conversion and great presentation as always. You guys are on fire at the moment 😆
Looks unreal guys! lets get you both on the podcast 🤷🏻♂️🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻
this is one of my favs
A big tip you guys. When you show storage space . Or wardrobes don't open the door nearest to the camera always take a min to show inside spaces .
The audio sounds amazing! Respect the dedication and daily uploads. Congrats on 165k
I quite like this quirky property...it has some interesting features....love the kitchen worktops too.
Shame though that many hospitals & fire stations such as this one have been shut down.
Houses of Parliament could be turned into many apartments too....perhaps for homeless people.
I do enjoy your videos.
Fantastic property, huge impact. Nice tour again Matt & Summer 👌
Interesting and quirky first apartment!
Omg 165k congrats your channel is growing so much
Interesting! The bedrooms remind me of large office cubicles!
Lovely👌Another great episode guys. Love this channel! Keep up the great work guys 👏👏
I love your videos. I’m obsessed with property at the moment. Can’t wait to one day have one (some 🙃) of my own! Please tour some properties in Kingston and Hampton Court 😊
Another great video thanks. Very nice flats. My question with the ground floor one concerns the windows and how it would look with curtains and nets even....for privacy, light control, heat control and keeping insects out....also a bit disappointed with single rather than double sink..but overall its a fantastic conversion. I prefer the upper floor flat but that marble counter top sticking out would have to go! I can see people hurting themselves on it. Small points.
Very nice video..
There is literally no way on earth anyone could think that place is worth 4 million. It’s horrid.
Love it!
Unique. Quaint. Charming. I would buy this unit if I have the money.
Amazing
Great space! The front door is pretty silly though. It could do with some privacy. You get the feeling you’re entering a communal space. I like the little steps down to the wardrobe/main bath from the primary bedroom though. Very cozy.
That's hilarious, fighting fire with horses and carts:-)!
Think how many cars you could park in the former appliance bay? I have seen other former fire stations that have been converted, but the ground floor has been maintained for car spaces whilst the upper floors for living quarters.
I would really like to see some apartments in manchester or liverpool, btw this apartment is gorgeous🤩🤩
I think it's a very pretty home! I'd love to see the penthouse if it has one.
Loved your video, but I couldn't live there... too open, not cosy or homely. But you guys did a great job of presenting it :))
So unique. 🥰
oh nooo, just horrible, kinda reminds me of an old school or hospital. The tiles are just the worst like the ones they used to have in old public loos
Love it. A few plants on those outside spaces will lift them considerably. Question: where is the laundry? For £4 million, I don't want to use a laundrette.
Awesome!
Thanks Matt & Summer! 👍🏻👍🏻
Summer seems to really like the poles wink wink
First floor I loved,
It's great.
Wow!
Absolutely LOVE THIS! 😍 so quirky!
hi matt and summer. i am big fan of you guys.i would love to see an tour of your house.
isn't that stalking lol.
the 1st one is really nice. so unique but the 2nd is a lot of money for a standard small flat.
It was a fire station, not a fire house, not a fire building. it was a Fire station. Personally I preferred it when it was a working station. I had many of good standby shifts in that station.
I’m gutted seeing her like this!!
It's similar to a loft building and probably costly to heat during the winter months.
I liked the 2nd apartment more, but the 1st one was really interesting.
Great conversion but the walls are glazed bricks NOT tiles used in a lot of places that needed a easy washdown surface 100 years ago
This guy really likes led lights!
I hope the lift has a "Do not use in case of fire" sign.
I think it would be a great air B&b investment...x
omfg i love it and i wish i was rich to buy it....
