    The house looks nice just not very much a home feels more like a posh coffee shop/pub or a social commercial place 🤷🏽‍♀️

      So many places are like that now, the renovations are geared towards appearing like a shopping mall or bar rather than a cosy home. I don't think it would take much to make this feel like a home though, just a few small tweaks, some time living there, easy enough I imagine.

    Of all the houses you guys have shown, this is probably the nicest one. Love the interior design, the soft finishing, and the staging. An additional point for the in-house gym and spa facilities. Well done.

    Still for sale at the end of March 2021, reduced to £6,750,000. I love the bedrooms, and the outdoors indoors feeling of the extension. But that huge living area... I can't help think it needs to be designed to be less like a hotel lobby or fancy airport lounge. Maybe there is enough natural light to put a large indoor garden in the centre? To fill in the space and also provide more, separate defined living areas.

    I loved the open plan space and mezzanine level. The interior design has been executed beautifully and really gives the WOW factor to the property. However, I would have expected the Master Bedroom Suite to have been a lot bigger and more impressive than it was, with potentially His and Hers Dressing Rooms. Overall a great property.

    Some of these comments... being grade II listed means there are certain (structural) renovations you cannot do as it needs to be in keeping with the property of the character. That’s probably why it’s not as “homely” and practical as you’d expect 🤦🏻‍♀️

    I absolutely loved this one.
    The way they linked the old and new buildings with those quirky windows in the rooms was outstanding! and the barred lighting was stunning too. No cheap white sockets in this one either! and the communal areas where brilliant.
    I would have a rising stair case in the high mezzanine area just too secure it, and use it as my siesta area. 😁
    Not too sure about the 7+ million.

    This is a lot of money for a converted chapel. But it is London and it is a unique property. It does have that big loft feeling, not always very intimate. I have to say that the materials used in the interior have a very luxurious and sophisticated feel to it. Beautiful furniture. Gorgeous color scheme. The movie theatre is so inviting. The indoor pool and spa are a big waw. You asked what I would do with the upper level above the main living area ? I would keep it as it is. All by all this is a stunning property. Kudos to the interior designer.
    I could live in a chapel but a smaller one. I do love the high ceilings and the lofty feel. Great video, once again.

    Thanks guys I really enjoy your videos I love the way you share the presenting and show some really great properties in so much detail, you say you’re not agents, but you’re brilliant at showing people around the houses!!. The spa and pool area were particularly amazing I thought… I didn’t notice if they had a downstairs toilet for guests?? - would people have to go into the bedrooms to use the bathroom?
    I believe the wooden floor is called parquet (i’m not sure if I spelt that right but it’s pronounced ‘par-kay’) - I might be wrong as the blocks of wood look quite large, but having had a similar type of flooring installed recently I believe that’s the correct term for it. Also I noticed that there are couple of very famous brands - Meile and Villeroy and Boch.. i’m pretty sure they’re pronounced Meal-a (as in ‘a’ for apple rather than meal-ay) and I’m certain it’s pronounced Villeroy and ‘Bok’ as we have a family member who works for them.. sorry hope you don’t mind me mentioning it, it’s just that your reviews are so classy and that just stood out when I was watching 😯🤪🤩 But seriously thanks for the videos - can’t wait for the next review 👍😊

    Its a lovely property, i would deffo live there, just need 7.5million now. The flow to the property is strange but i suppose converting a chapel into a house is no easy thing. I love the grand living space. Only thing is theres not really any private outdoor entertaining space for a nice bbq and gardening, that would be my main put off, The only decent outside space was in the second bedroom, but i cant imagine walking through someones bedroom while they were having a rest with my hotdogs and burgers X

    Love the high ceilings ... one small criticism is the bedrooms are a bit small for a big property. You should also mention if there is designated parking space(s) with the property + any communal charges etc. It's ideal for having some private events and for hosting overseas guests of business trips .. not so much for raising a family.

    you can see it as a special penthouse, because of no individual garden, no parking area. Drawing,sitting,living,kitchen,dinning,study,gaming in one

    Great place for entretaining. Not a family home but great for a couple who love entertaining. I would hold chamber music recitals in there with the musicians up in the mezzanine. Alas, it is not to happen. I do not have $11 million stuffed in my closet.....

    Why are you supposed to say principal room? I thought she was doing a play on words like master bedroom the principal room because of former school

      Master meaning Male dominance, not PC these days, principal gender neutral

    agree with others the open plan living area is just too big to feel homely, feels more like a school dinning, gym or library space

    The open plan space is too large and open. It has no large entertainment unit/TV/bookshelves etc to kind of break up the area and this place would have benefited from some sort of creative partial separation of the dining and living areas. The space therefore just ended up looking like a big hotel lobby with little disconnected seating areas dotted around. Perhaps because of the grade ll listing they were very restricted in what they could do but the interior design of that living space did not help. I like this house in many ways and the fact that it is a house that benefits from a concierge service etc.

    Could have put in a TV if its 84 inches. You’d never achieve the same picture quality with a projector.

    The main room looks like a cruise ship, not right for living. Aside from that it is nice. Away from London you could get similar for 1/4 of the price, crazy.

    I’d avoid anything listed. They are just such a hassle. The developer was definitely limited with what they could do with this.

    Are Miele appliances worth the extra money? Someone told me they are the Rolle Royce of kitchen appliances....

    • @SoAnesu
      @SoAnesu Před 3 lety +2

      47 Singh definitely but it depends on your needs and where you are based. Gaggenau is great if you are someone who really likes cooking or you have a private chef and you need precision where as Miele is geared towards the “mass market” and they have a high end range the quality is a lot more robust. Gaggenau is horrendously expensive to repair. Throw into that equation Subzero and Wolf and there is an Italian brand also with mentioning i need to find the name it has slipped my mind but I’ll do a video on them later in the year...

    • @SoAnesu
      @SoAnesu Před 3 lety +2

      Emil GO gaggenau is not necessarily the rolls Royce it depends on your needs but there is Subzero and Wolf and a couple of other brands which are better.

      So Anesu ohhh very informative and great knowledge! Following your advice I have just ordered Miele oven (with steam), microwave combo oven, and gas hob (clean steel range). I hope it is good haha 🙌

    • @SoAnesu
      @SoAnesu Před 3 lety +1

    It seems that everyone who rennovates old homes want the insides to be completely the opposite of the exterior. The "architects" LOVE copying the one room "open plan" that modern American houses have. UGH
