This song touches very heavily on the struggles over came by the urban community, victories, and pride for our culture. Although Kendrick is proud of his heritage he also struggles with anger and hate toward the others from his community as well when it comes his loved ones falling victim to senseless events. The best part of it all is that Kendrick does take accountability when dealing with this struggle which is as heartfelt as it gets! Which route will Kendrick take after excepting accountability? My personal favorite track from this album (not by far, this album is full of magnificent tracks). Even though the production on this song is definitely one of the simplest on the entire album, it has something. The looped short melody with the siren and the keys, the amazing synth coming in on the chorus, the aggressive drums, Kendrick's and Assassin's vocals, the lyrics and then the outro.... Absolutely beautiful.

Christmas with all these drops. This song felt like Kendrick’s anger translator like in the Obama dinner but of course Kendrick does his own. In Casey’s defense I agree Kendrick feels chaotic so his jarring changes feel abrupt and his juxtaposition’s are subtle so i feel big Kendrick fans can follow his chaotic flow and split personalities.

Understandable why ppl don’t like it. This song scary. You can’t play it everywhere I scared ppl away a couple times lol. He’s wildly aggressive and his voice timbre is kinda grating but to me that’s why it work so well.
