This reminds me of that scene from ToyStory 2 when Geri is fixing Woody and giving him life again, you’re giving these things some life :)
that is the biggest compliment!! thank you
omg truuu
Ya
@Clover Murrin HAHA butifull... sorry that was mean
@@PearFleur hey I have an idea. Can you make like a marching monkey who can hold an incense stick instead of a flag. That would be pretty cute.
One of the rare “thank god this was recommended to me” type videos
Absolutely
Yea
Ja
Right haha
Yes it is-
YEAH TY FOR WORDING IT
[sigh] This is so calming and relaxing that I just feel like all my problems are just gone.
Yeah, feels like my crippling deppresion is gone.

Ok but your name-

Why do i see danganronpa fans everywhere ? Maybe we are increasing in numbers ?
you: delicately making objects with the clay
me in pottery class: *aggressively slaps brown clay on table to get water out*
Lol
Every artist has their own process
what about the old *aggressively punches clay to get all the air bubbles out then proceeds to wave hand around in the air due to how hard the clay was and how much my fist hurts*
@@harrietiscoolll what about the old *desperately clawing and trying to get clay out of the toddler-sized package with wet, slippery hands, and then you can only use one hand for the actual sculpting because the other one is about to drop off*
www There's a real charm for brown clay wheel thrown cups tho, it lasts forever and I'm less worried about plastic leeching out, I want to get into it.
I kid you not i thought it was cake from the thumbnail.
I'm still in high-school, but last year, before Corona, I was in Pottery. There you get to work with clay and make things. You color it woth glaze and fire it. It was so much fun and really relaxing, even though I would always get hurt with the knives or tools we used (still don't know why my teacher trusted me with any of that, he would always shake his head and give me a band aid but still have a smile on his face). When Covid happened I had to stay home, meaning no more Pottery. I'm still home meaning I can't take that class anymore, I also learned that my art teacher left. I miss it so much, but its nice to see you get into it.
that sounds really fun and relaxing! idk why but reading ur experiences was so soothing and nice, thank u for sharing
This is so wholesome
Oh...I feel bad for you,it sounds like fun though
noice! ;]
I do really hope you can get into something like polymer clay, as you can do that safely at home. You can look at people like NerdECrafter & Clayclaim to see what they do with coloured polymer clay! (:
This video was such a treat, you give everything you make such a beautiful life🥺🧡
Hi handsome☺️
😌 thank u 💛
I love the fact that of all the artists I see and follow on CZcams that Matthew is the only one I will see comment on other artists art on how good it is you're such a sweet guy😇🖤
OH MY GAHD ITS MATTHEW
Hi person
I have sleep paralysis, so after my horrid “sessions” when Im wide awake, paranoid, shaking, etc. I usually just sit there doing nothing and just...not sleeping. Decided to actually do something and watch YT to pass time.
Woke up 3 hours later.
I cant believe this actually put me to sleep, especially in such a paranoid state. Ive tried medication (doesn't work, cant have bigger doses since I'm young) white noise, asmr, pet sleep, journals, everything.
Im shocked.
i’m late but that’s so good to hear!!
😇
that's so wonderful to hear! I know it isn't the same, but as someone who has severe insomnia, I tend to resent sleep because it gets so complicated; this is one of the few things that helps me! regardless, i hope that you're doing alright now! :D
I used to have sleep paralysis a lot, but now that I'm older it's very rare. I really hope it goes away for you too. I know how hard it can be to go through. Take care.
As a note for dice, for realism, apposing numbered faces should always equal the highest number plus the lowest number. So on a 6 sided die, the (1 and 6), (2 and 5), and (3 and 4) are on opposite sides of each other. [1+6=7; 2+5=7; 3+4=7] Of course for art, always do what you're inspired to do.
💖 -Ava
that's it.
I'm gonna go buy clay now 😤
if you did make something, let us know
Great me too!
You can make an airdry version at home of similar quality, its called cold porcelain, highly recommend over any other diy clay as it is very smooth.
same
this is me from 3 years now, just cant get further this :(
this is so calming!
fun fact: did you know, that the opposite sides to a dice always add up to 7? i was thinking about that when i saw your dices :)
@@lil-berg she made three, so dice
TIL
Not just with a six-sided die, but no matter the number of sides, traditionally the opposite sides are always going to add up to a value of the number of sides plus 1. The highest number (the same number as the number of sides) is almost always directly across from the one, if it was made with the traditional layout in mind. Source: I make dice in my spare time
7 on the inside
@@anthonyb3209 Yes, if you have a 20 sided dice, the sides add up to 2020 (Source: I play an unhealthy amount of D&D)
Everything looks great!
Also, the snake incense holder reminds me of a Brazilian phrase: “Agora a cobra vai fumar” (literally translates to now the snake is going to smoke). It means that things are about to go south or get violent, which has nothing to do with your beautiful peaceful vibes, but I thought I’d share this.

it’s so dope 2 see a lot of people interested in clay & resin but as someone who has been using resin for years: it’s highly toxic when curing, you need to wear gloves and an organic vapor respirator mask in a well ventilated area and NEVER WHERE THERE ARE PETS!! Pls wear PPE fleur 🥺🥺💕 it’s hella dangerous
Is clay non-toxic or no? Or only the natural kind is non-toxic?
@@beckel3593 I’m pretty sure polymer clay is fine but clay isn’t my medium so I’m not sure, I’m just talking about resin being very toxic (the glossy coating you often see people use on clay items) and potentially cause damaging lasting health problems
@@rachmae4180 yeah i know thank u! It’s a good tip for anyone confused (though the clay being used in this video is polymer clay along w resin which i do have years of experience with so i had to say something about the totally unsafe practices being shown in regards 2 that so nobody replicates it)
@@TheFruitStripez can you eat off of a natural clay plate? (If you're not sanding it)
I noticed she was using the UV cured resin to finish. I was under the assumption that this type of finish does not give off fumes the way that other resin does, is that right? I guess wearing a mask for all of it is the safest way to work.
I'm sick and can't leave my bed, I really needed you to upload 😭💜
Get well soon!
Get well soon! Sending prayers.
Oh! sorry that your sick!! Get well soon!

Things I like about handmade stuff:
1. They are imperfectly perfect
2. They were made with love and at least interest
I really needed this today. You not only enrich lives with your art, but you lift spirits and soothe anxieties during these difficult times. Thank you so much for the love and care you take with all of your projects and videos. 🤗💗
i'm glad you're back to cure this unmotivated and uninspired being 😅
Calming music, good inspiration. When I was a young girl, I would mold the smallest tootsie rolls into animal shapes. Then in middle school, I ventured into this. I made buttons, and jewelry. Detailed with my paints. I enjoyed it too! I never have made a Chinese Brush Rest, so thanks for including. Perfect for me these years for my artworks 🙌
12:40 I thought she gonna paint it like her profile picture but it’s still very cute 😭

I just love how calm your voice is its so soothing and calms me down a bit
I know, right?
I have the attention span of a fish, so I wasn't expecting to stay on this video for too long but holy guacamole this video and so many of your others are SOOO ENTERTAINING!!!
Same lol
This is really the only thing that is keeping me sane I'm going though a tough time with family problems, my mental health, and my trama flashbacks and this video is really relaxing and helps me calm myself down and focus on other things than my problems, so thank you. :)
You make it so beautiful. I love how you shape and paint. and no noise. So calm. Thank you so much.
6+ years ago i used to watch your miniature clay videos and it got me into using clay :] I've always stuck around for your art journey and I love seeing you back with clay again haha
I was about to test my newly purchased inks for my fountain pen but I guess I'll watch this video first. 😁 I know it will be calming and beautiful.

Everything turned out so cute, I've been wanting to try making a pallete out of clay your work motivates me to do so
I’ve been a fan since your MyPetitieCakes era and honestly, seeing you come back to making things in clay has been such a treat! Thank you for providing amazing content as always
wait I did not know this was the same person as MyPetiteCakes, I was obsessed with those videos when I was so much younger
All the items were extremely beautiful. You worked really hard on each of it. Great work. 😊

right when this video ended, i purchased some polymer clay online.....u r my inspiration
You can make an air-dry version at home for very cheap, its called cold porcelain, there are a ton of different recipes and versions out there, I use it personally and its pretty smooth.
Watching this gave me a peaceful feeling. TY
watching this channel makes me at peace and gives so much serotonin
I literally sat through the sponsor message just because her ASMR whisper voice is so relaxing :)
I always look forward to your videos :)
Girl I’ve been waiting!!! Rewatched all your videos about 3 times
Soo satisfying to watch the clay thing cut!
I love how instead of making these videos specifically asmr and clouding over the enjoyable parts with random noises, she allows the craft to speak for itself and therefore making the video as a whole more pleasant to watch. Super talented and knows how to put it to good use as well. I love watching these no matter how many times I've already seen it! Great job, as always.
This video was uploaded 2 minutes ago and there are already 12 comments. Nobody has had the time to watch it yet. Good job PearFleur :)
It was so smooth to watch! Like you’re floating on clouds while watching!!!

If u have old notebooks you need to recycle, consider making paper clay at home! Some recipes online only require flour paper and water :)
@@mchjsosde Thank you for that idea! I used to make recycled paper, I bet that making recycled clay would be really fun!

ps this video is so beautiful, it feels like meditation
You made me smile. I'm very grateful.
this is such a calming video to watch especially on a saturday early morning while the sun is rising
GLOVES HUMAN GLOVES, we do not want those hands to get hurt on resin
I have zero knowledge here so I'm hoping you can educate me. What's the difference between glaze and resin? I know some glazes contain lead sadly I have some pottery that contain lead and didn't even know it.
@@XX-fd1ix I’m not sure but I think a glaze is just more of a paint type deal that can be used as a sealant and sometimes also a colorant but resin is actually more of a plastic to protect the things she made
Hellllooo ❤ welcome back 😍❤
I absolutely LOVE the items you made. Especially the swan dish and the whale brush stand. All of the items were superb and I think they would look good in any house or other setting. You are so talented! God bless you just as you bless us with your videos.
ur creations have always been one of a kind. every piece is so unique yet it's undoubtedly you!
Wow 💕
this makes me want to make pancakes. That fish head is the star of the show.
so pretty
Your videos are the definition of satisfying and calming asmr :)
i dont think resin is food safe?
i love these 🥰😍 you should make a little can of sardines
This was such a creative and a healing process~ tysm for sharing this process with us:)!
The painting process reminds me of stop motion animation, just the way the paint and brush moves. Such a calming video 🖤
I love your vintage aesthetic :)) Your so talented but what I must ask is how do u not make a mess and get it so smooth without using water? Whenever I make stuff with clay I always it all over my fingers and it leaves my hands dry even after I moisturise
Do you use air dry clay? I find that the exact same happens to my hand when I’m creating things and water is needed. She’s using polymer clay, I don’t think that requires water and is much softer to handle.
Thank you for the excellent video, I found this one extra inspiring. I wanted to ask; in the end, is there something that you learned and probably would have done differently? Did you varnish the underside of the plates as well? Congratulations on creating excellent work! :D
watching this was a healing experience thank you
Your mind is beyond my capability. Great art. Thanks for sharing. Stay safe.

This is just beautiful. Thank you.
besides the clay, do you need any specific tools to create these same results?
From my experience everyday utensils will be sufficient ;)
@@basho4306 Thank you!
You technically don't even need that clay, you can substitute it for a diy air-dry version called cold porcelain, its cheaper, but it does make a mess in your pot, lol.
@@facelessdrone Thank you! I've never heard of that kind of clay.
