- Highlights of the Touring 2 SCCA National at Lime Rock - August 1, 2009. The Mitsubishi EVO starts on the pole with Brian Kleeman in the 350Z (camera car) on the outside. David Brand in a Supercharged Lotus Elise chases from behind.
Notice the motor in the 350Z starts dying by Lap 3.
The race is stopped and ends under a red-flag when Ken Payson's Spec Miata hits the spun-out Lotus head on. David Brand was treated and released that same day; as of Monday, Ken remains in the hospital. A full recovery is expected, but thoughts and prayers nonetheless. - Auta a dopravní prostředky

@ArthursWRX8U Exhaust is a single straight pipe - no muffler, cats removed. It was LOUD.

i love z's I'm fan of z's I own 350z nismo. In my life I've soon crazy drivers but this guy who's driving z.. Damnnnnn dude u got guts to stay this close and telling that piece of crap to get out of ur way and when u take over that car it tried to block u.. Aye evo's aren't that good in corners. Z's hugs the road. Love Z's
what mods do you have to compete in this category? nice driving mate.
Don't play follow the leader thru the corner..take your own line also ... he was braking very early.....also turn the wheel and hold it don't be sawing on it... also be either on or off the gas not on off on off thru the corners

Wow, that Evo needed a driver mod badly.
I would love to know the mod list for this 350z, it doesn't sound boosted but it pulls hard I plan on getting 1 this spring and I would love to keep it all motor if it pulls like this the suspension seemed perfect and great driving from Brian very well done
How did the guy in evo qualify for race, good braking and avoidance, I'm trying to learn good lines with iracing before I joy ride on track

what did you have in this beast? twins? supercharger?
! Its almost like he hasnt drivin there in years and that was his very first dry lap in that car with that set up! ALso looks like he was just put on 245 R tires mandated by the scca and had zero practice on them! Also apprears the 350Z has 285 A compounds, also looks like his R tires werent heated up yet and he was sliding all over the place trying to hold off the Z while until his tires came around, BTW LRP is a horrible Evo track while it was tailor made for a 350Z.
why this evo cant take corners at higher speed than a 350z is beyond me

hahaha 350z all the way beats evo through corners no problem put the evo was feeling the z pressure and crumbled
wow, i think before the race, the evo driver took 10 shots of straight vodka, smoked a full blunt, shot up on meth, and took some sleeping pills. he sucked at driving.
