Great little rifle the NP02, lots of fun for relatively little money. Great video
The only thing I'd add is a scope without AO, adjustable objective (aka parallax, focus) are focused at 100yards usually. What that means for your scope at 10yards, is that if you set gun perfectly still, and move your eye, you will see reticle move about. Makes it tough to be repeatable. Put a scope on that gun with AO and you'll be amazed at it's new accuracy. Doesn't have to be a $300-500 scope, UTG Bugbuster can be had for less than $100. Heck I've tried $50 AO scopes and they'll still tighten up your groups at close ranges.

🔥. Once you’ve leaded up the barrel you should defo get 5p groups at 50 yards. Get a bipod too the bags ain’t that stable.

They are very capable rifles, bought my son in law one for crimbo a few years back.. Pellet testing essential, and a little trigger fettling a must.. Makes for a great garden plinker, and great ratting rifle.. Put something a little better on top, ( scope wise) it deserves it..

Did you give barrel damned good clean prior to using it? And / or before testing different pellets? Ps, don't over fill with air, there's a burst disc inside, and it's a right ******* too replace.. But I'm sure your aware of that.. Think it's in the instruction booklet..

Thanks! I do need to caveat it though. If you can’t see it hitting the board. Or you run out of windage elevation. Then you need to look at how your scope is mounted. This only works if you’ve mounted correctly.. me eating humble pie here haha
Hi Buddy, I was looking at Airgun stuff on here - and, your title jumped out at me...... as I disagreed mentally immediately! **All the below is very well meant b.t.w**. No nasty, unwarranted criticism at all = who wants to read - or send? - that??!.
Very good and honest of you to say you're new to the sport/hobby, and good call on getting your other half the same "toy" as you (meant in a responsible yet, factual unless you're hunting - way) so you can enjoy the pastime together.... The more ladies that get into it, the better! - our club of 280 members only has around 10 in it sadly? (!). But,
I've zeroed maybe 30 to 35 air-rifle scopes in the last 7 years, and, to get the crosshair/reticle centre **absloutely** bang on - IN WIND FREE CONDITIONS : - the only way to do it properly - It's taken me maybe a minimum of 10 maybe 12 shots to **consistently** hit exactly the same point on the target. If you buy a second hand scope, dependant of what rifle it's been fitted to previously of course - it can take 30 shots to get to where you want/need ot be exact centre-wise ((and a Kral NP-02 is easily capable of putting shot-on-shot, with it's favourite pellet of course!)). Either .177 or .22, unless youre using match grade pellets = you ideally use pellets with a minimum of weight discrepancy to zero (J.S.B's are way off "Exact" for example!). And not at the 10 metres you mention either - although Yes, that's a reasonable enough distance to get "some" idea of how accurate your Kral's are, I zero mine - multiple springer and PCP's - at 30 yards, which I'm guessing is around 25 metres??. And, thanks to our club layout = I/we shoot out to 60 yards, so need to know our rifles are only a "short-range tool/tack driver" setup wise..
And, as a fellow commenter has said : - Non - parallax adjusting scopes for air rifles are an absolute nightmare...... They're set waaay too long a distance for us airgunners, usually anyway - 100 yards?/ maybe 50 at best??. Unless you're shooting at pretty much exactly the same distanced target all the time..... = Get a scope upgrade (a cheap one for £70/80-ish?, shift your old one on fleabaye and get a decent price for it, Konus again are decent scopes and will be wanted), a 3 - 9 x 40 AO/parallax adjustable **mil-dots ideally too** scope, and optically notice the difference/useability straight away clear focus wise. Konus are very decent scopes, it's just a shame about the lack of parallax adjustment on some of their range..... The trouble is that then though if you do indeed upgrade, (!!)
You'll want (or even think you need?) a 4-16 x 40 or 44/50mm lensed scope, when you realise there are fairly cheaply-done possible improvements .... even a 6 x 24 mag? !!.

Cheers nick! I have to say… I feel like a fraud. I got a new scope. That is 4-16 x50 AO. Can’t zero it at all. Been talking to lots of people on how to sort it. Will try again tomorrow. I appreciate and welcome all feedback.

It’s mk2. Comes with the match trigger. All newer ones do. 👍🏻🫡

Most frustrating .22 barrel ?? when I got my NP02 I took 13 tins with me at 20 yds and 10 types were great ! and I mean great, that was a wasted night, you need to go out to 25yds to start sorting them out and 30yds to really narrow down pellet choice with that barrel. the plus point, plinking in the back garden @ 20yds, that barrel is NOT fussy

When your hammer breaks use that scope to pound nails. These type of scope do not do the gun any justice. Not even fair to the gun at all. Get a proper scope with side parallax please and make paper weights, door stops, hammers out of the package deal scopes.
