I'm 16 and I was not even born when Selena was alive. There are times when I miss her so much that I watch her videos, especially this one, since the Medley in my opinion was one of her best presentations. A true artist and legend. The Queen.
Wow... i wish I could have seen her when she was still alive. It really is a shame that she lost her life in such a tragic way. She was such a hard-working woman with a unique personality and essence. Selena will live forever! There are still many young people of this generation who love her music and miss her, and I'm very proud to say I'm one of those people! :)

I think and hope you value and maybe admire somewhat another reason of many as to why she is and will always be idolized (atleast by me and others) in my opinion young girls and women of all ages could draw from her to unstopable power of a woman who not only puts in all her effort focus/comittment to the task, she did not settle nor listen when others told her that she will go no where or never reach the heights that males do just because she is female. Mind you, her parents where there always lending support and love to all thier children, just like boys become great men through love and support , so equally do little girls and women which is what we need so desperatly. Too long have women been told and treated as inferior when if anything are the opposite. But Selena showed in this example (with honestly without her family would of never reached her heights, AB's music, father, suz and mom all worked as a team to help elevate them all. She showed that not can women be successful on par with men, Selena was able to lead her and the group to heights unimaginable at the time. She brought this genre which is incredily small and localized maining in part of the states, to worldwide reconization and appeal. She had everything to be the megastar she become. Hell even the stars aligned to agree, She was an Aries, probably one the only ones i ever adored (personally) Arians among things : Pioneers- the first in the zodiac the first trail blazers, which matchs her being the first female in her genre , the latino artist in many awards/acolades and just str8 up owning, she named the most successful and dominating artist of the 90s by guiness.... if the females of the world present and near future do the same in whatever field they choose I.E take back thier power and we can all finally moving towards a balance, and better future. Men have ruled too long and as men are mostly about power,control which is for men easily obtained and kept through violence/war..as all the world has known for decades...women are the keepers of life . we so need that in world

I would see her videos, and look up to her on her fashion sense and also on her person. She always said she was hardworking and that inspired me. The thing about Selena is that she was exactly the portray of the essence of a woman. She was the boss, but she didn't had to put anyone down to be the boss, she managed her business and she was still so respectful with every human being, man or woman. She wasn't rude at all, she was so charismatic, so understanding and respectful to her family and she still was the leader. She was and still is such a strong figure for women and girls. I do believe Selena wanted to encourage the power and light on good & humble people in general, whether men or women. 💜💜

But this intro here, is hands down the most beautiful, epic, and really moving intros I have ever scene. I can only imagine how exhilarating it must have been to see her come in in the Astro Dome. RIP Selena.
