      @@johannvons Yep, counted the strings, and it's the correct number for the tenor guitar that he's playing ... four.

      @@andrewwigglesworth3030 top string, I believe, is E, which makes it an "Irish tenor," as opposed to a tenor guitar, which has A on top, C on the bottom.

    I didn't know John Carty played the tenor guitar, but I heard of him as a fiddle and tenor banjo player.

      From John: That Tenor Guitar was made by Luthier from Near Portland Oregon called GD Armstrong.
      He has a music store in Newburg about 50 miles from Portland. Good friend and decent man.
