NUMB Pregame - Northwestern Football vs. Illinois - November 26, 2016

The Northwestern University "Wildcat" Marching Band performs their pregame show prior to the Northwestern vs. Illinois football game on November 26, 2016.
The Wildcat Band's Pregame show consists of "Fanfare" (2011), "Downfield" and "Rise, Northwestern! (Push On)" (1915), a patriotic medley of "You're a Grand Old Flag" with "God Bless America," the fight song of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (our guests and opponents of the day), and "Go U, Northwestern!" (1912).
The "Wildcat" Band is led on the field by Drum Majors Anglea Yang, Amanda Hermans, and Allison Grant. The Director of Digital Media is Mr. Daniel M. Reck '08 MSEd, the Director of Bands is Dr. Mallory Thompson, and the Director of the "Wildcat" Marching Band is Mr. Daniel J. Farris. why do you need 3 drum majors for?

Each season we review and audition all interested drum major applicants. We appoint those who will best serve the band's needs that year. In 2017 we have only appointed two drum majors, but in some seasons we've had one or three, depending on what our operational needs are.
