Off The Field: Nicole Wallace, Northwestern's Feature Twirler

Explore the long journey of Nicole Wallace that led to her joining the Northwestern University "Wildcat" Marching Band as its feature twirler. Hannah Beir '22 MSJ follows Nicole through a game day, from before-dawn preparation through the Wildcat Band's exciting performance at Chicago's Wrigley Field this season. We also hear from Nicole's first coach about the drive and determination that has carried Nicole to a pinnacle of achievement that weaves together athleticism, artistic dance, and musicianship.
The "Wildcat" Band is led on the field by Drum Majors Zoe Lauer and Kelly Tam. The Voice of the Wildcat Band is Mr. Pete Friedmann '79, the Director of Digital Services is Mr. Daniel M.
