- A training excercise with a Search And Rescue helicopter from Sjöfartsverket, Kristianstad. It was via FFK, the Swedish Volountary Air Corps. Of course I wanted to participate and this video shows how they work.
I’m impressed by their professionalism, so a great thanks to the helicopter crew at Sjöfartsverket, Swedish Coast Guard and FFK!
Amazing search and rescue capability having a winch fitted to the helicopter.
I got to work close to an ex-military Hong Kong built helicopter, very loud.

Takes me back to my Time in the USCG . I was on a Ice Breaker , and we would do these CSAR's and SAR's
We would always have a lottery on board for who would be chosen out of 300 guys and gals . Our Capt would fill the pop machine onboard with 'Golden Tickets' on different pops and whoever got the tickets would be able to be part of the exercise.
Nice! I was called and asked if I wanted to participate and be in Kristianstad in a couple of hours. Of course I said yes and was so happy that I was allowed to bring my Gopros! 🎥🤗👍🏼
It brings back good memories, these exercises are very familiar to me! 🤙
