- Heartland Season 16’s 10th episode, Lurking in the Shadows, was one of the season's best episodes. We finally learned Finn’s big secret; he is either married or in a relationship. A young woman opened the other when Amy went to his house. She was calling Finn “honey,” but Amy left without learning the details of this relationship. However, we are not here to talk about Finn and Amy’s future. We are here to talk about something more important that happened in the episode.

If Jack dies you might as well call it quit and finish the series. It looks like the series is trying to come to a close any way. You have done well and have had some good writers.

Nope Jack isn't going to die he's been through much worst with the heart attack a few years back so he'll survive this accident and I hope Tim's old oil friend gets caught for attempted murder of Tim or if Jack does die then the guy will be arrested for murder
Recently I saw Jack in a Psychic Message and it shows jack riding a brown horse out of the barn, I got the feeling jack may be retiring from the show and of course they may be writing him out of the show. Of course may be thinking about retiring.
Jack is the character that holds Heartland together, more so than Amy's. Losing Jack will end the series.
I must admit I feel the same about the series without Jack
The equine behaviour explanation in this commentary video is awful - the horse is acting ‘crazy?!?!’ Horses respond to events in the moment - their behaviour is mostly logical! He might be behaving in a way that was unexpected - but he was acting appropriately to the discomfort the rock bag suggests he may have suffered

Jack is a necessary character for Heartland! They can't remove him! His love and wisdom is so comforting to everyone who knows him.
Jack is one of the few actors that is liked by just about everyone. Loosing him prematurely would be another disaster for this series. He brings a little more realistic life to this entire series!

I can't tell you how much my family has become 'Obsessed' with this wonderful program & ever day the program comes on, we're glued to the T.V., even though we know it's gonna be a re-run, we just have to our daily chance to see Grandpa. Mr. Shawn is the Only One who could Ever play Grandpa!!🥰 The way he talks about his lessons of life, whether it's he's remembering something from his past or telling Ty his lessons of life, he is the Cornerstone of our lives that we just couldn't really live without! We could, but it would be like the light went out of our life! And, I just know, if you brought us this awesome program, you just couldn't break our hearts like that! I found a t-shirt one time that says: ' I don't need Therapy, just let me watch another episode of "Heartland"

I can't imagine the writers would kill off Jack. After Ty dying and everyone finally being ready to move on it would just be too dark. If the actor wanted to leave they could just send him off travelling with Lisa, no need to kill him. Plus if they had decided to kill him they wouldn't have put this up as a cliffhanger and not even give Amy and him the chance to make amends. That wouldn't be Heartland. I hope I'm right.

Loved this weeks episode! I was curious how the writers were going to write-in the Finn/Amy relationship since "Finn" died in real life. If this is actually how things end for them (i.e. Amy assuming Finn has another woman) then.. good. :)

I love Heartland and watch television to escape reality. Jack's dying would be too realistic and something that I could really do without because he puts the heart in Heartland. I just don't see why anyone else has to die. Ty's death was bad enough, no one wants to just keep watching for the cast to die off. Sounds like the writers are running out of ideas!

Well , Lou's greed got ty & Amy shot when she just had to have the mayor's spot . Now Tim's drug past history which got a friend crippled for life is going to have another family member in danger . Jack. I don't think the writers or producers really care a hole lot about the real meaning of a true family ! Family members generally don't put loved ones at risk for their own sins.

My thoughts on Heartland are that this will be their last season.
First and foremost is the fact that the man playing Finn on the has passed in real life.
I think the actors are just tired of their roles.
