Ah you said the magic word jiujitsu. How long you been training? In class my instructor was showing the crucifix position and made some sacrilegious comment I wouldn't care to repeat. Do you ever find yourself in a situation like that and what do you do? Many in the class laughed and it didn't sit right with me so now I've made it my mission to choke them all out ;) btw I recently found your channel and it's really great thanks to you for your time

Hi Dr. Marshall, in regards to modesty in apparel : Are there any prohibitions in dress/makeup for a young woman who wants to attract a husband? Thank you!

Hi Dr Marshall, I was hoping to ask a question regarding gluttony. I am currently trying to gain weight to become stronger. I am tall and young with a high metabolism, so I have to eat a very high amount of food per day to achieve this. I am not trying to become a vain bodybuilder or anything, but I want to become bigger and stronger to gain more confidence and be more useful when it comes to manual work and this sort of thing. Is this justified in the eyes of the Catholic Church? I try to be grateful for my food and I do grow some of my own in the garden

Yes! Eat up! This is not gluttony. If you are tall and have fast metabolism you need to eat more and BETTER QUALITY. I recommend that you eat lots of eggs, bacon, and 70/30 ground beef and zero sugar. I was able to increase my lifts by 100 pounds by eating more and more fat and meat. Stay away from processed foods and sugar. It messes up your insulin and hormones. It's not just the amount of food but the quality.

St Paul did say wives should dress up more than single women - lest their hubbies run off with another woman. My husband always likes me in new clothes and notices everything - even makes me change hairdressers if they don’t cut properly.

In general men are much more sexualized than they used to be, so appearing in public is painful for a modest woman. When women try to be attractive to their husbands, they know that they will also get looks of approval from other men. That is a temptation even if they think that their husband is the handsomest man in the world. So what are they thinking when they do their faces? What are the guys thinking when they focus on having body beautiful? "This too shall pass." "God alone suffices."
